Hmmm, I have to be up early tomorrow for work. Fuck it.

I wonder how many times people asked who Hannah was in the live chat.

A lot. I resisted. I'm proud of me.

No Drew!?

Unprofessional Fridays in name only.

Edited by andrew2696

@robotsquad: More Drew is always a good thing.

But this episode was still pretty great.

Posted by Pudge

Good, not great episode. America Jones was the highlight of the night for me, but that video isn't up yet. Still, glad to see what is up with Vita stuff since they've been talking about it forever.

Man, just over a year ago I slammed a double shot of some Slovakian alcohol my friend called "Cherry", in Bratislava at 10AM. It was like, 35 degrees celsius It was simultaneously a really great and a really terrible idea. Three hours later I was on a train to Vienna. Man that was fun. I should do stuff like that more often.

BRAD AT GAMES

holy crap frobisher says is charming as heck

That mosquito stuff was pretty crazy. I remember when it came out, I never actually got around to playing it. Also Hannah is pretty awesome.

I'm not gonna say he should interrupt his honeymoon, but if Ryan's in Toronto he should attempt to hold a meet up... also he can sleep on my couch, his wife too. That's totally what honeymooners like to do right?

Hannah Foell associate producer at Turbine.

I thought she was Ryan's wife.

To be fair, she looks like the kind of woman who'd be cool enough to buy someone a cake to sit on for their birthday.

Salt and Vinegar chips ARE the best, good job Chat.

Edited by NPfeifer

I don't know if it's just me, but has Ryan lost weight? He seems slenderer than usual, which is totally cool, whatever he does. I know he's been having apnea issues, which is kinda hand-in-hand.

Edited by rjayb89

Audio is hot.

Edited by RenegadeSaint

@andrew2696: At least 20 times in the few minutes I was there. Most people postulated that she is Ryan's fiancee (which is not the case).

I usually have full wakeup clubs and I wake up late at night due to graveyard shifts.

This show taught me that both Another World and Frobisher Says are incredibly awesome.

Also, straight up, fuck salt and vinegar chips.

Posted by dagas

Like how Brad sweeps that drink with no problem and Ryan looks like he wants to kill himself.

I WOULD LIKE TO BRING TO EVERYONE'S ATTENTION THAT THIS WILL IN FACT HAVE BEEN THE SECOND FRIDAY WITHOUT SPACE JAM.

Edited by Devil240Z

Ok where I'm from Kettle Chips are a knock off of Tims Chips.

Also Salt and VInegar chips are the best kind of chip.

OMG RYAN WAS THINKING OF RING OF RED. one of my favorite PS2 RPGS.

<3 Good show!!

Man, I don't know if my experience with the Vita is nonstandard, but I've played a lot of stuff on it. I actually felt I was running out of stuff this month for the first time, and then Thomas Was Alone came out and I'm making my way through it.

Maybe it's that I don't have that much time? Persona 4 takes a long time for me to go through, so did Gravity Rush, I ended up playing a bunch of PSP games I had skipped in the first place, I played Virtue's Last Reward on it...

I wonder if journalists feel like it's a bit more barren because they tend to play multiplatform stuff in anything but the Vita and disregard anything that is not exclusive?

Fuck Kettle Chips. Kettle Chips suck.

I've heard a lot of really good things about the Vita, but I haven't really seen that killer app that would make it a must-have for me. Maybe that's just because I don't really like to carry a lot of stuff around and don't really do a lot of mobile gaming, even on my phone. If Konami wants to knock out a Metal Gear Acid 3 for it, I'd buy one post-haste.

@crembaw: We were talking about it after the show - Jeff had it there, but he said there wasn't a good time to bring it up and start reading. That might have something to do with me being there reading questions from the chat. You win some, you lose some.

@claudius: Jeff Hanneman died. He composed some of the best Slayer's songs, Raining Blood, Angel of Death, South of Heaven.

If Sony were to release Demon's Souls 2 exclusively for PSVita (considering that they still own the IP), then there should be a spike in Vita's sales. I'm really interested in Vita due to Soul Sacrifice and Persona 4 Golden, but I need to get rid of my old PSP first before getting one.

I am extremely partial to the notion of a Metal Gear Acid 3, but maybe I'd want that on a 3DS because that game DEMANDS crazy 3D implementation that is entirely superfluous for a turn-based collectible card strategy game.

I think your point does illustrate what's different about my relationship to the Vita. I bought it on hardware appeal alone, it quickly became my portable Netflix machine and then I was sitting there with a Vita and I just started playing games on it.

So does it have a system seller? Meeeh, I'd say you MUST play Gravity Rush in some form, that game is very interesting, but I don't know that it sells the system. P4G is that, for sure, but it is a re-release, so having alreadly played it demotes it a notch.

However, if you do own a Vita already, there's a ton of cool stuff to play. I ended up playing a lot of multiplatform games on the Vita just because it has a suspend feature and the games are all in the system already, so the time-to-game is much shorter than on a PS3 (if a game is suspended you can be playing in literally two seconds). That really made a difference in deciding whether I was in the mood to play Guacamelee, and I have actually played more of it on the Vita than on the PS3. Same with Thomas Was Alone. And it's the best way to play PSP RPGs, too. You can map areas of the screen to buttons, so you can set it up to skip through text by tapping it, which really makes a big difference in talky stuff like Persona 3 or Corpse Party.

So yeah, I get why people would hold off from buying one, but I certainly got my money's worth from it already.

I would rather have Hannah as part of the cast than Rorie.

I also just barely missed the Chip Poll, I would have tied Sour Cream/Onion with that gross-ass Salt n Vinegar. DAMMIT

Just me or is the audio in this video really fucking loud? Got my speakers on low and the video player volume on like 1% and it's still really loud.

Edited by Rorie

@sub_o: @noelveiga: Honestly, I'm pretty sure I'll wind up buying one when the FFX remake comes out. I really like that game to an insane degree, and I'm pretty hopeful that they'll wind up including all the Japanese re-release stuff (extra hard bosses, etc.) that never quite made it to America, if I recall. If they follow that up with an FFXII re-release, double sold.
