Hey, I remember that game. My friend and I had no idea what we were doing, but it was still pretty awesome.

What? No. Where'd you get that idea? Monolith did AVP2. I doubt Sierra was involved in any way, even as a publisher.

At least they already have their motto: Save Early, Save Often.

Anyway I have no reason to be hyped about this, too hard to believe the right people are in place to revisit the well and make it work.

Activision's new digital store, right? Probably. If that's where The Legend of Korra releases, I'll download it.

Sierra has a lot of the games I played in my childhood. Space Quest, Quest for Glory... oh, and Half-Life in college. Awesome, but it won't be the same company.

That game was pretty cool, but I never got very far in it. There were a handful of legitimately good Myst clones from back in those days. Obsidian is probably my personal favorite.

Sierra and it's games not only formed the beginning of my gaming career but in a lot of cases taught me to spell. .If they can recreate any of the old magic of Quest for Glory, Kings Quest,Space Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry I will be thrilled, but I am not going to get my hopes up, activision is likely fucking with our emotions.

Sierra published the No One Lives Forever games. A third would make me the most happy. Failing that, I'd be pleased with a new SWAT or MetalArms game.

I want the return of the late 80's publisher Sierra, which localized and released some pretty cool Japanese PC games like Thexder and Silpheed. Silpheed even included the soundtrack on cassette, to show off the capabilities of the Roland MT-32 to people who didn't already own that sound card.

Saw the title of the article and just HAD to scan through the comments to see if anyone remembered the good old days.

Stopped playing spark when those stupid cta's took over and nobody played GO anymore . Never did check out the browser based game it turned into now and never will. But, if Sierra brought it back and made a new updated client with kickass servers, I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for the nostalgia friend.

Its going to be The Realm 2: Return of the Dial-up MMO. Can't wait to get a founders Balderic and do a FuFu run.
