I can appreciate that this might look technically sharper than last gen games, but everything about this just makes it look like a second-rate attempt to create an atmosphere on the level of GTA V. Even the format of this trailer seems like a second-rate Rockstar trailer.

Some of the "camera work" in the trailer looks real bad. I don't like how they're trying to mimic Rockstar's style of narrated trailers.

Though, if anything, it's got me thinking what's possible with these consoles when Rockstar comes to them. Look at what GTAV did with 8 year old tech. This game doesn't look like that much a step up. I'm still excited though.

So if I accidentally run someone important over, I could have a bounty on my head? I hope that isn't the case, as little things like that could make the game really frustrating to play.

How is it a second-rate attempt? What specifically about the atmosphere in the city conveyed in this trailer, is second rate compared to GTA V? The city of Los Santos itself was exquisitely modelled in GTA V, but the actual "atmosphere" of the civilians and whatnot, wasn't that impressive.

What I've read, is that if you do illegal shit right out in broad daylight, civilians in the area will call the police - and you either have to try and stop them, or just deal with it. The only "bounty" system I've heard of, had to do with the seamless multiplayer drop-in aspect, I think - but my guess is you have to opt-in to that system.

While I thought the original reveal looked truly next gen, this kind of just looks like GTA V to me. Hopefully the gameplay is good.

Looking good. I'm glad they used the extra time from the push-back to downgrade the graphics and release more and more trailers to make sure everyone is sick of hearing about it by the time it comes out. I jest.

Ok, I am willing to set everything else aside because I am pretty sure I saw a fire breathing metal dragon and a giant robot spider in there somewhere. That alone could be enough.

How they mention the multiplayer happening reminds me an awful lot of the Souls games, but sneakier.

Content wise, it looks great. Graphically I can't tell if it's actually been downgraded or if what once looked amazing when it was first shown now looks a little dated after playing Infamous SS.

Looks cool, but graphically it doesn't look as nice as GTA V.

@graf1k: Just watch the debut video they had from two years ago. Though to be fair, that was a PC dev kit and this was before devs even knew what the final specs of the new consoles dev kits we're going to be so there could be an additional download for a high res texture pack just in the PC version just like Sleeping Dogs.

GOD that camera work makes me want to throw up. One take, camera movement done with a controller.

Coming out after Infamous is really going to hurt the knee jerk perception of the "next gen-ness" of this game. It will probably have a much bigger world and a lot more content in terms of hours to 100%, but my and many other people's immediate thought is "the visuals aren't anywhere near as good as Infamous," which is unfortunate.

Portillo's is pretty good. Not sure if it's overrated though maybe properly rated(?). I like their food. :)

It's not even funny how much worse the recent footage looks when compared to those early gameplay videos. Hope it looks somewhat comparable on PC.

This is one of those games I don't want to buy on current gen but want to buy a PS4 for. When will they announce the PS4/Vita bundle. When lord?! When is it gonna be that time?!

Is it me or is this game looking worse with every trailer release? I hope that Tom Clancey game doesn't go the same way.

@graf1k: That E3 debut looked way better than even Infamous SS. But yeah, that was always gonna be a best case scenario kind of thing, and this being mult platform and cross gen...

Anyways, this game has always looked pretty boring to me, before and after the "downgrade". It has to do a lot with the hacking stuff to get me interested because what we've seen of the story so far looks so mediocre.

Also, what the fuck is up with the "edgy" camera work in the beginning? Some quicker cuts and it could've come out of MTV in the 90s. Good that they're wearing those R* inspirations on their sleeve with this trailer though.

I have little interest in the game, but I really just want to drive around my city to see how accurate stuff is. I want to feel like those San Franciscoins felt in Driver: San Francisco, dammit.

It's been a few months since I've made it up to the city, but I don't remember mountain ranges.
