Is Fei Long going to be in this, too? Because this would make for a great opportunity to see who is the better Bruce Lee knock off.

Looks good. But I'll just wait for Super Street Fighter X Tekken.

If he's in this, i bet there's going to be an achievement for teaming the Bruce Lee's wannabes.

Also, i know that's a joke, but they can only use the Tekken license for ONE game, so, Super SF X Tekken Aracde Edition v.2013 is not going to happen.

This game looks insane, should be a ton of fun.

Sooo... we're going with this video instead of the one that announces Pac-Man as a Vita-exclusive character, eh?

Huh.

@Landon: Already confirmed that there won't be another disc based SFxT. So if there is a Super, it'll be DLC. All waiting is going to do is give everyone online about a year's worth of practice on ya.

According to Lupinko (the guy who leaked the roster for MvC3, MK9 and UMvC3). The rest of the characters for the Tekken side is Bryan, Lars, Alisa, Leo, Christie, Jack, Ogre and Pac Man. Street Fighters side is Guy, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Blanka, Akuma and Mega Man. There is only one missing on the SF side and people think it's Dan or Sakura.

How much of a disappointment, lie, and a scam this game is going to be? I say pretty big.

First off, the SF roster looks pretty disappointing. Enough with the SFII fan service, I know who the fuck those characters are, so stop bringing most of those characters in. Where are the characters from Alpha, SFIII, SFIV? Why is they're only a few of them?

Second, is there going to be any value like good unlockables and gameplay modes? And when I say that, I don't mean useless/un-fun modes like trail mode and fan art. Seeing how Capcom didn't say anything about that, I'm guessing no. Oh yeah, no GGPO support, meaning that the netcode is going to be shit. Also, why doesn't Capcom offer a online mode that matched you up with players automatically and allow you to rematch them in a casual match, similar to the rank mode, just without the rank. Other fighting games have had it, why not Capcom fighting games?

What about story? All I saw was that CG cut scene of some characters fighting each other, and I think that's how deep it's going to be - it's going to suck.

And Third, Capcom announce their locked content and DLC scam - Gem pack. So I'm not sold on this game, and thus I will not support Capcom's horrible cause. I'll probably buy this game cheap and used. Suck it Capcom.

I don't support evil robots. Yeah that's right, I'm implying that's there's good robots.

Capcom has a history of lying to their consumers. That producer man of MVC 3 lied a total of three times (or more) about the development of MVC 3 - Strider and Nemesis can't be in MVC 3 (he lied about Strider and Nemesis individually) , and spectator mode is "impossible" to get working. I also remembered that Ono lied about the story aspect of SFIV by saying that they're going to put more emphasis on the story. No offense, but you would have to have your head up your ass to believe that Capcom is an honest company.

Also, that DLC for AE wasn't that big of an update. It was just two new characters and two alternate costumes that are known as the "Evil Ryu" and "Oni Akuma" pack, and a rebalance. The rest of the "DLC" characters that we've seen from other games is locked on the disc.

Why'd they post this and not that awesome trailer with ALL the new characters.... whatever. still cool.

pretty much all of this. capcom is a fucking evil company with a really good game that they will keep remaking with slightly new features until no1 buys it.

It's already been stated that the agreement with Namco Bandai only stretches for this one game. There will not be another SFxT disc release, so you can forget about any sort of Super version down the line unless that agreement changes.

And as far as the Street Fighter II characters are concerned, well, they're the characters everyone knows best and are typically the characters people want to see in these sorts of games. Street Fighter III has a dedicated following among the tournament players, but it's not as widely popular simply because the game ditched the vast majority of the SFII roster.

And even then, the argument is a bit silly, seeing as characters like Hugo, Poison, Ibuki, and so on aren't SFII characters.

While I love the idea of this game and will probably play the shit out of it, I really hope that Capcom gets to the point of making good, solid...ORIGINAL...IPs again at some point rather than rehashing Resident Evil and Street Fighter into the ground. Dragon's Dogma sounds cool, but I've seen next to nothing about the game itself in terms of mechanics, gameplay, etc.

First off, if I was only thinking about myself, I would say specific characters' names. For example, I like Necro, and if I was truly selfish, I would say that the roster is shit for not having Necro. Thanks for not noticing that you jimmy wong. Yeah I said it, and I don't know what that means.

Also, "other people" don't want a SFII roster, or a roster that's mostly filled with them, they want diversity among the SF series. Only a selfish person would say that Capcom should mostly bring SF characters from a certain game because he favors that game. So who saying that? SFII fans - they're selfish.

And it will change. Namco is not against title updates seeing how they've done it themselves with the Tekken series. Lies, lies, lies, that's what they're all about, or at least for Capcom.

The SFII characters have been in most SF games that been created. How many times have people jacked off to Cammy's thong ass? Too many times! Characters outside of SFII have gained so much popularity ever since they were introduced to the people that didn't pay attention to the SF series until SFIV was announce, in the SFIV series. Or Just have Ono mention a character, and that character will gain a lot of popularity. For example: Every SF fan hated R. Mika - that's a fact -  but when Ono said he wanted her in, a few weeks later, the character got supporters. Ono is a dangerous man with magic.

There's only a few non-SFII characters, a few...........

Posted by HerbieBug

Why does this reuse models and animations from a four year old game? Why do some of the new character have animations ripped directly from SFIV characters? Why is the artstyle so ghastly? Why does the camera zoom in every time someone hits a launcher?

Game looks fucking terrible. Not even getting into the mechanical problems, just the aesthetics alone.

You can't say for sure. To say that it will definitely change without any proof is just speculation, and while you can speculate all you want, it doesn't make the statement true.

Actually, your argument is full of broad strokes with little in the way of statistics to back it up. You can't equivocally state that Cammy has appeared "too many times" because there's no definition for "too many" other than what you personally perceive. Your statement regarding R. Mika is simply a base lie. To say that she had no fans prior to Ono making a statement when in fact she had fans (I am among them, so I would know) is an empty falsehood.

You would do well to construct better arguments to get your point across. Hyperbole will get you nowhere.

@Hailinel: Exactly like Capcom stated there would no Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and instead be treated with DLC characters and occasional patches like a modern videogame.

You're out of your mind if you think Namco and Capcom won't renew that contract after seeing how much this game is going to sell to get Super Street Fighter x Tekken Dark Resurrection.

But they haven't. So to say that they absolutely, positively, definitely will beyond a shadow of a doubt will do such a thing cannot be proven true.

Capcom has lied multiple times, and I've pointed them out in my previous post. So what makes you believe that Capcom has any creditability when it comes to telling the truth? Based on Capcom's past lies, my speculations are highly possible, so why defend them?

Super Street Fighter II
Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Street Fighter IV (Series)
Other Vs. games

Cammy has been in all those games which  that takes up the majority of the SF series. And the same can be said about most of the SFII characters. There are characters outside of that series that are just as interesting or better that don't get much of the spotlight because Capcom is too busy providing fan service for the SFII fans for billionth time. Cammy's ass, we get it. What about Urien's scantly clad outfit? Men can look like sluts too you know.

And my statement about R. Mika is a lie? How do I know that you're not lying yourself? On the day when Ono said that he wanted Mika, so many SF fans reacted with hatred of the thought of Mika being included on the Capcom web site. I've witness it first hand, and notice no one saying good things about the character. Over time, Mika fans were popping out of no where because they believe that she was grantee to be in any game because of what Ono said. Ono mentions a character, grantee supporters, like magic. And notice no one is supporting Necro, just have Ono say he would like to have him in, and I grantee you there will be lot of Necro fans all of a sudden.

And what's this hyperbolic time chamber you're going on about?
Posted by Hailinel

@The_LMFAO_Guy: Why would I have any reason to lie about liking R. Mika? That is a statement of my own opinion. But by stating my opinion, it renders your argument invalid, as it required hatred of R. Mika from 100% of all Street Fighter players.

Also, once again, Capcom and Namco's agreement only extends to a single game each. You might note that there have only been two Tasunoko vs. Capcom titles, and that's only because they needed to make a second one that was fit for international release. Further, you can't say that they will with absolute certainty because there is a possibilit that you are wrong. The possibility will remain until it is proven one way or the other.
