dat Street Fighter art style! Those Tekken characters look so good. Xiaoyu looks especially cute in this.

According to Lupinko (the guy who leaked the roster for MvC3, MK9 and UMvC3). The rest of the characters for the Tekken side is Bryan, Lars, Alisa, Leo, Christie, Jack, Ogre and Pac Man. Street Fighters side is Guy, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Blanka, Akuma and Mega Man. There is only one missing on the SF side and people think it's Dan or Sakura.

I like the part with the dinosaurs.

What about story? All I saw was that CG cut scene of some characters fighting each other, and I think that's how deep it's going to be - it's going to suck.

And Third, Capcom announce their locked content and DLC scam - Gem pack. So I'm not sold on this game, and thus I will not support Capcom's horrible cause. I'll probably buy this game cheap and used. Suck it Capcom.

Capcom has a history of lying to their consumers. That producer man of MVC 3 lied a total of three times (or more) about the development of MVC 3 - Strider and Nemesis can't be in MVC 3 (he lied about Strider and Nemesis individually) , and spectator mode is "impossible" to get working. I also remembered that Ono lied about the story aspect of SFIV by saying that they're going to put more emphasis on the story. No offense, but you would have to have your head up your ass to believe that Capcom is an honest company. Also, that DLC for AE wasn't that big of an update. It was just two new characters and two alternate costumes that are known as the "Evil Ryu" and "Oni Akuma" pack, and a rebalance. The rest of the "DLC" characters that we've seen from other games is locked on the disc.

It's already been stated that the agreement with Namco Bandai only stretches for this one game. There will not be another SFxT disc release, so you can forget about any sort of Super version down the line unless that agreement changes.

And as far as the Street Fighter II characters are concerned, well, they're the characters everyone knows best and are typically the characters people want to see in these sorts of games. Street Fighter III has a dedicated following among the tournament players, but it's not as widely popular simply because the game ditched the vast majority of the SFII roster.

And even then, the argument is a bit silly, seeing as characters like Hugo, Poison, Ibuki, and so on aren't SFII characters.

While I love the idea of this game and will probably play the shit out of it, I really hope that Capcom gets to the point of making good, solid...ORIGINAL...IPs again at some point rather than rehashing Resident Evil and Street Fighter into the ground. Dragon's Dogma sounds cool, but I've seen next to nothing about the game itself in terms of mechanics, gameplay, etc.

rumours are the canadian capcom studio(that did dead rising 2) is working on a new IP. it's probably still a few years away tho.

Lot of rage and non-interest in the comments here. This is a crossover dealie a lapsed fighter duder like myself might get into since I actually remember old SF and Tekken types from the SNES and PS1 days.

I think I'll wait to see what Mike Ross thinks about the final version of this game before I make any purchase decisions.

Why does this reuse models and animations from a four year old game? Why do some of the new character have animations ripped directly from SFIV characters? Why is the artstyle so ghastly? Why does the camera zoom in every time someone hits a launcher?

Game looks fucking terrible. Not even getting into the mechanical problems, just the aesthetics alone.

And it will change. Namco is not against title updates seeing how they've done it themselves with the Tekken series. Lies, lies, lies, that's what they're all about, or at least for Capcom. The SFII characters have been in most SF games that been created. How many times have people jacked off to Cammy's thong ass? Too many times! Characters outside of SFII have gained so much popularity ever since they were introduced to the people that didn't pay attention to the SF series until SFIV was announce, in the SFIV series. Or Just have Ono mention a character, and that character will gain a lot of popularity. For example: Every SF fan hated R. Mika - that's a fact - but when Ono said he wanted her in, a few weeks later, the character got supporters. Ono is a dangerous man with magic. There's only a few non-SFII characters, a few...........

@The_LMFAO_Guy: Why would I have any reason to lie about liking R. Mika? That is a statement of my own opinion. But by stating my opinion, it renders your argument invalid, as it required hatred of R. Mika from 100% of all Street Fighter players.

Also, once again, Capcom and Namco's agreement only extends to a single game each. You might note that there have only been two Tasunoko vs. Capcom titles, and that's only because they needed to make a second one that was fit for international release. Further, you can't say that they will with absolute certainty because there is a possibilit that you are wrong. The possibility will remain until it is proven one way or the other.

Ok I haven't watched and SF X T trailers for a while but I'm happy to see Juri is in it. This looks pretty good but I'm still not fully convinced.

Looks like a lot of fun. Hopefully it will be easier than SCIV (much to the distress of the hardcore community).

They still doing that gem thing. There still not going to be a "play without gems mode"? There still going to be dlc gems you have to pay money for?
 
I genuinely stopped following this game a while ago, but if the answer to those questions has changed i'll be alot more interested in it :(
