I'm just sitting her waiting for Peggle

Next Gen doesn't really start until Peggle 2 is out.

Can someone explain Peggle to me? Like, I played the demo thing that came with the Orange Box for 45 minutes, and it was fun, and that was all the Peggle I really needed to play.

Is it just pachinko with Ode to Joy? That's all I took away from it.

I love Peggle, and still play it fairly regularly, but I'm disappointed in Pop Cap for the way this sequel looks. It doesn't look better, just different... And actually a little worse.

I know gameplay is what's most important here, but visually Peggle 2 looks to be a lesser iteration than the original.

Here's hoping the PC/Android versions hit soon. The F2P hooks in PvZ2 left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I need to wash it clean with more PopCap goodness. (not saying PvZ2 is bad. I quite enjoy it. It's just... ugh.)

Have they announced a price? I'm hoping for anything more than "free".
