Double Fine will be bought and this will be the shite that Microsoft forces them to pump out for the Kinect.

This seems surprisingly generic for Double Fine.

If this is the shit that will get them money to make more great games for me, then I am ok with this.

I sure hope Giant Bomb is getting some kick backs for this obvious idea theft. Or maybe Vinny can get a consulting gig and tell them to add more fire/explosions.

They could have at least had somebody descending into the lava giving a thumbs up gesture T2-style.

Also, we are clearly not the target market for this.

Or it's the kind of shit that will get them the money that convinces them that making even more shit will make them even more money.

That is the very possible, horrible alternative!

So...hopefully this is a collection of ideas they had while making Sesame Street padded with some interactive screensavers? 'cause if this is a legitimate project...

Wow, a retail Kinect game that's actually just that: A Kinect game. No half-assed "would be better with a controller" stuff, either!

Clearly for kids, but hey - it might be fun.

Oh man, companies trying to make money! Blasphemy!

(This looks like stuff spun off from an aborted Eyetoy disc. Not for me, but someone out there must care about it. Maybe 8 year olds.)

Cool another Double Fine game to be overhyped when it's really mediocre.

Isn't this kinda sorta what Double Fine is already doing with Once Upon a Monster? Kinect minigames for the kids?

Surprised it's a download, seems like the kind of thing that would do well on shelves for parents and kids to see. Ah well.. more announcements incoming, yes?

A couple of those looked interesting, like playing a monster crushing buildings, it looks great for giving to the small kids int he family to pass the time, especially over the holidays when the parents are still eating dinner.

@Methodis: I don't agree with you that double fine games are mediocre, I don't think this game is especially interesting. Mini-game collections aren't really my thing. Neither are sesame street games...I really hope they change this kid oriented direction soon.

The kind of experiences people should be making with Kinect. Lots of AR stuff, made for laughs, and makes moving fun. I'm sure kids will love it, and that's what's good about it.

If you read the video description its actually a downloadable game.

This makes Kinect Fun Labs look like Gameroom.

I think that GB went to visit Double Fine recently (hence the assortment of Double Fine videos on the site recently). So I can't help but wonder if an amusing QL EX of this is on its way.

Fully.

Different gamers, different ages, different tastes. If this has a market, then by all means. In the days of $60.00 PC releases/PREORDER codes-exclusive purchases/DLC/season passes/skins, catering to a particular market demographic seems hardly outrageous.

Also: This game is whack, yo.

Not that DF is doing this, but that this will probably sell more copies than Psychonauts....

Eh, if I end up getting my niece the Sesame Street game, I guess I'll pick this up, too. Might keep her interest for fifteen minutes.
