I'm surprised, Vinny managed to get a grip on the controls more than I did in 4 days of playing.

You know, if Direct VOIP wasn't broken at the time of recording, it would have been way cooler and easier to cooperate. Vinny probrably wouldn't have died :P

Day Z is the zombie apocalypse sim every zombie fan has ever wanted. MMOs like this are hopeful indicators for STALKER 2/Suvarium. And it's a great survival horror game to boot.

Was just trying to help them meet up and protect them duder, you spawn in random locations in DayZ and seeing as how he did inevitably get killed by a bandit watching the stream, he probrably would have gotten killed earlier :P

Drew and Vinny are going to get that pot of gold!

This was one of the most "PC gaming" streams I've ever seen.

The hours I've spent sitting around on Killing Floor servers waiting for 13 mb of soundeffects to download...

True, but it wouldn't be as funny.

I think that anyone from Mythbusters would be too tough/stubborn to become a zombie though I do think that if Grant was left on his own for a while that he'd create a army of Mythbuster themed robots to deal with the zombie horde.

Interesting idea for a mod, the game this way sort of reminds me of the Neverwinter Nights2 Ravenloft persistent world mod that's out there where the game is so much deadlier & darker in tone along with the permadeath.

This really doesn't look that fun. I want to play it, but it seems like a game that trolls would flock too just so they could ruin someone's experience.

Alpha live demo folks. DayZ has about as much potential as it has jank at this point. I don't know if I like it in its current form, but it's interesting. Bohemia is plotting to turn it into an actual commercial product though. So things ought to at least accelerate faster than usual with a mod given how popular it has become.

And I don't know why people are using the salute to indicate they're friendly when there's a freaking /dance. That's what I'll be doing.

And man, Vinny comes across a ridiculous amount of fewer zombies than when I jumped in. Started off looking at one basically, then I climbed up a crane to hopefully be relatively safe while I looked at the controls. Big mistake as I accidentally danced off the crane and broke both my legs. With my dancing days over things felt hopeless so I decided to crawl off the dock into the sea to die. Only to discover I could breathe underwater. In the zombie apocalypse man is indeed the true enemy. And the sea.

Even playing alone, you could easily spend half an hour to an hour server surfing like they did. It sucks, but the game has some cool stuff going for it when you actually get it working.

I almost bought DCS A-10 that day because of that video. Even though I don't have a stick.

I was the old man that saluted you a few times. If it helps at all, the fact that we died shortly after each encounter was completely coincidental. Totally would have loved to roam with you guys if all went as planned. Not sure how fun this might be to watch with all the connection issues, but I had a blast during it live. I was very surprised to see this just appear, and mire surprised that you were actually playing a game and mod that I had, especially for how god damn broken it is. I strongly urge you guys to take another look at this game in a few months when server stability and more game play is added because this game just looks so promising. Keep up the good work guys!

looking at chat. Goons. Of course goons are playing this game. Spergy as hell.

The enemy wasn't zombies or men. The real enemy was the internet.

does anyone else hear a knocking sound that occurs more when either one of them speaks? It's not that annoying, just noticeable.

That's a nice life to lead I wish I could be as cool and effective as that guy during my free time.

gameplay-wise this was one of the more boring videos but Vinny/Drew-wise this was AMAZING

I always find it funny how such a slow paced, realistic game as Arma never ceases to make for hilarious videos.

This mod looks totally unplayable thanks to these unstable-as-fuck servers.
