These kind of games have been getting real popular lately huh?

I assume @patrickklepek just sees cool stuff in his travels while he's on holidays, and links them on Giant Bomb to share with us, like we do with Facebook to share with our friends. That or he loves his job so much that he works while he's on holiday. Or Jeff is actually a slave driver, and standing behind him with a whip to keep him working.

And I'm loving it! Samurai Gunn is really cool and all, but I really hate that it's local only. I appreciate that this has that style of combat but also with some sort of adventure mode. I'm sold.

Last time I saw this game was on a FGC stream. They were really into the game.

I played this at Wild Rumpus, it was fucking amazing.

Local multiplayer games are so much fun, annoyingly it's pretty difficult to get friends around to play them.

Multiplayer only?

It seemed to me most of the video was actually the single player campaign with only the multiplayer aspect towards the end. Just my guess though.

Looks cool, but now i realize how stupid it was for all these gaming press people to talk about how awesome it was 2 years ago. It wasn't close to coming out then and wasn't even in the database, but I kept hearing about it. I just assumed it was some pretentious art project that floated around people in the know.

Reminds me of the combat from Prince of Persia.

That seemed interesting and then that last few seconds happened and now I have to see that in action.

Man, I have been waiting for this game since I was in college! I am so excited for this!

This has been available on the Texatron arcade cabinet at Guzu Gallery in Austin for well over a year, but I guess that's the only place you can play it.

this is clearly a fighting game. i wanna see the fgc pick it up a little but they can sometimes be weirded out by things that don't have lifebars/dont have ryu/dont have magneto in it. hopefully it will show up at events though, it would work great at UFGT and keits ought to appreciate its concept a bit.

Guys, this game has been around forever. Glad Mark finally is putting it out for people to play. Its really great. Man, Local multiplayer renaissance. Sports friends, Samurai gunn, 0 Space, tower fall, Foiled and of course Nidhogg. So excited.

This looks really cool, but like every other local multiplayer cool looking crazy fest, I won't be able to play it, or at least that aspect of it that makes it so great. I'm not saying they should all add online play, cause half the time that wouldn't be fun in the same way anyway, but I haven't been able to personally have that kind of experience since my college age years and smash brothers melee.

I look at games like Nidhogg and Samurai Gunn like we've peered into an alternate universe where there were downloadable games for the SNES & Genesis.

I guess that's neat, but why does it look like shit?

I heard about this on Idle Thumbs forever ago and have been waiting for it to get an official release. This game looks awesome.

I wonder how it controls, looks like there are quite a few moves - will it be fighting game style , but fireball = cartwheel?
