New games to play on new consoles, wooo! Was hoping that this would still release relatively-early 2014, since there hadn't been much talk about it as of late.

Looks like some good, clean fun. The idea that the new DOOM might have multiplayer is pretty weird.

I hope this is good. Growing up on Doom shareware and Quake, id can poop in a box and I'd prob buy it. I even loved Rage (except that horrible ending).

I think it's super ironic that for me, qcrack.exe probably ended up earning them more money then they lost!

Did it always have the subtitle 'The New Order' when it was first announced? Seems weird to have two next-gen (current-gen) games with 'The Order' in their titles.

That was a really good trailer. I hope the game is as well.

As much as Doom and Wolfenstein have been lackluster as of late I'd give this a fair shake through gamefly.

This looks like a great FPS, the setting reminds me a bit of the Inglorious Basterds-part of Inglorious Basterds but set in a sci-fi version of the 60's. Still, this also really makes me miss Raven :(

Wow, Wolfenstein: The New Order looks a lot nicer than it did when we saw it months ago. I never thought I'd say I miss WWII-era shooters, but I do.

It is a little worrying that it's a "Doom beta" and not Doom 4. To me that would mean the creative direction of, what was, Doom 4 didn't go well so they're playing it safe and just remaking the original.

I've heard people say good things about Wolfenstein, but I think it's kind of awful that you need to staple on the promise of another much-more-anticipated game in order to sell the one you're currently pushing. I didn't like it when Crackdown done it, I didn't like it when Zone Of The Enders done it, and I still don't like it now with Wolfenstein doing it. It shows little or no confidence in the existing product, and it says to me "This probably isn't worth buying and the Doom promise is a cash-grab at best."

Don't understand how the Wolfenstein name still sells. Played a ton of the old one, but putting it on a new game is like labeling your shooter 'dated' in my head, whether that's true or not.

Multiplayer in the original DOOM games was preeeetty rad, hopefully it can recapture that.

Anyway, this new Wolf continues to look really cool. I appreciate how much they seem to be ignoring the modern shooter conventions that bore the piss out of me, like hiding behind cover while trying to kill enemies who are hiding behind cover.

Wow. That was the best video game trailer I have ever seen.

I am one of the biggest id software fans. Doom, and Quake shaped my life for over a decade. This looks absolutely amazing and hearing that there is a new Doom makes me happier than I've been able to be in a long time.

1)That war doesn't seem all that cold in the trailer.

I have to say I was not at all interested in the new Wolfenstein, but this trailer's really making me change my mind.

They sure do ban games that contain swastikas or Nazi references. The last Wolfenstein had all of the swastikas replaced. They even had to recall the game shortly after release because they missed one little swastika somewhere. It's really dumb.

I played Wolfenstein The New Order back at eurogamer expo, and people will be surprised by how awesome it plays. I even made a thread for it on GAF for how much you don't have to play it like CoD without ADS, health/armour packs, etc.
