Haha, yeah, pretty much. I really don't get how that game could be interesting to anybody. Just go read some Lovecraft short stories instead.

For those wondering - you can get points in Infinite Fame. When the giant laser shoots the little space invader guys, it kills them and leaves a flashing ball behind that you can collect. You get points for collecting the souls of dead space invaders.

Prime Mover looks intensely frustrating in the best possible way. Patrick's reaction to it was as entertaining as the ones in some Spookin' episodes.

Can we get links to these games so we can try them to? I tried searching for the rapture ufo one but I couldn't find it.

I thought they did something with game dev story, but it might have just been a podcast pitch.

Subtext: game dev tycoon is just game dev story, right?

Patrick, for the cat game, I noticed that there was a timer and a score on the top of the screen. The timer counts down fairly quickly, but you get more time every time you collect a bottle. I think it's more of a "how many can you get before time expires" game. There might be more levels, too. Dunno!

He wanted to buy the soundtrack of all that awful synth noodling?? It reminds me of all the jokes on MST3K about Music From The Hearts Of Space.

I'm glad the "Walk around and trigger dialogue snippets" genre of Art Game has now progressed past original writing, and can just have people read famous authors' work aloud.

I've got a suggestion for your next 'Worth Playing' - 'Game Dev Tycoon'. Found it surprisingly addictive and was surprised to see there was no videos on it on this site.

The cat game was an interesting art project though the game seemed pretty dull. Prime movers had some delicious chaos. I'd be terrible at it.

Wow the first two games were complete stinkers. An annoying 30 second game followed by a so far up its own ass it needs a helmet with a flashlight game.

Eh, I'm not totally to blame. Like I said, it wouldn't be the first time.

You should probably watch the video from the beginning before criticizing. Just sayin'.

The cat game didn't seem any fun to play, but I think it's the first time I've seen a game, at least a first person one do the fish eye lens with actual curving lines. They're almost always having a really high FOV but weirdly straight lines. I'd love to see more curved lines in future FPSes (with more sane FOV of course), I think that'd make tall structures, and looking up and down look much more natural.

@patrickklepek The intros on these are too long. House cleaning stuff is not very interesting to listen to when you just want to see the games.

Prime Mover's music was fantastic.

Also, not entirely sure how I did this as it didn't work every time (maybe speed during the approach?), but on the fourth level of Prime Mover you can actually get the balls to go through the left side if you have them lined up with the correct container. It also glitched out on me a few times if they went through at the wrong part of the wall and got stuck.

The music in Prime Mover mixed with the gameplay was making me very tense.

Prime Movers music was awesome, and that grassy field running game seemed pretty alright as well.

The music in The Rapture... reminds me of the movie Beyond The Black Rainbow.

I really dug Prime Mover's music.
