As for those items. The flying disks are LaserDisc's after Ryan's passion for the format, and the Shopping Carts are a homage to Keystone Kapers, the game this Tribute is based on. :)

Yeah, Ryan was the first thing that came to mind when I was reminded about the Winter Olympics. Those Olympic video game streams he did were so much fun even though the games were questionable in quality.

Oh man, that ending crushed me. I was even able to hold it together during the tribute podcast (not easy to do), but watching Patrick's face as he played that game in silence was too much. When he finally spoke again, the tears just started rolling.

As much as I miss Ryan (and holy shit, do I ever), I often forget that the crew must be feeling it a thousand fold worse.

@mutenmiller Awesome tribute, man. The level endings are both hilarious and incredibly sweet.

I think I commented on this video already, but just in case I'll say again how great the tribute is. I downloaded it and played it until I died. Not sure I understood the shopping carts or flying CDs, assuming they were references to anything in particular, but really tight little game with awesome sound effects... and of course a fantastic tribute.

You are absolutely right. It was so hard to watch Patrick play without saying anything, especially since the game (like Ryan) is so happy and cheery and funny. When he did speak up I went from smiling at all the stuff in there to choking up a bit.

Ghost fish, sitting on a cake, some great references in there. Well done.

Merry Scoops Day!

The other day I watched a remix of dick kicker by @hamst3r and it made me laugh because Ryan and Jeff had so much god damn fun. Then afterwards it made my heart ache.

Kudos to the game maker, I can tell he put a lot of effort into referencing GB antics over the years. Even got nods to the old whiskey office as well as newer stuff like pie into toilet.

Holy crap today is also my birthday!! Happy Birthday Patrick!
