@mutenmiller: What was really heartbreaking during Mailbag Mayem was how quiet Patrick was throughout...Ryan never comes up on the podcast, which makes sense. But this reminded me of how his loss continually affects everyone at Giant Bomb. This game needed to be made, and we thank you for it.

I still miss Ryan alot.

Got all choked up too. What a beautiful little game, it still seems so unbelievable that Ryan's gone...like it's the weirdest thing to even begin to describe. That was hard to watch, thanks for keeping it together Patrick, happy birthday man you're a stronger man than me.

Also that ninja game really reminded me of that Gameboy-esque GoldenEye de-make, which was a cool platformer from a few years ago.

First time a video game made me cry.

Man, Mailbag Mayhem is perfect.

And the link to his page just reminds me how damn slick that wedding photo is. And how showing up on HollywoodLife.com next to Kanye and Kim Kardashian and Jay-Z would've been the most ridiculous tribute he could've asked for.

Merry Scoops Day!

The other day I watched a remix of dick kicker by @hamst3r and it made me laugh because Ryan and Jeff had so much god damn fun. Then afterwards it made my heart ache.

Kudos to the game maker, I can tell he put a lot of effort into referencing GB antics over the years. Even got nods to the old whiskey office as well as newer stuff like pie into toilet.

You are absolutely right. It was so hard to watch Patrick play without saying anything, especially since the game (like Ryan) is so happy and cheery and funny. When he did speak up I went from smiling at all the stuff in there to choking up a bit.

I've said it a couple of times already, but I'll just say thanks one more time to everyone who appreciates it. It was of course something that meant a lot to me, and I was incredibly nervous about releasing it. I'm just so glad people are enjoying it and are touched by it. You guys are all just the best.
