Worth Playing: 10/18/2013

Yeaaaaah, the Interference demo is kinda broken and the controls are not precise enough for how brutal the stealth level is. Gave th developer feedback for it, hope some issues are resolved because they've nailed down a fantastic cyberpunk aesthetic.

@patrickklepek I think the whole reason for the existence of Kinoko & Gal is to make fun of games like Cheetaman.

I'd guess the game wasn't made with 360 controllers specifically in mind. The 360 sticks have terrible accuracy, which modern games get around by putting a 25% deadzone on them, so you're not randomly moving around, Kinoko & Gal probably didn't have a large enough deadzone.

Oh man, I thought Scarlet was doing a commentary on cheating when you were looking for a last item that you JUST COULDN'T FIND, like how you'd be wracked with guilt IRL if you cheated.

But what they did was fine too.

YEEECCCCCCCCHHH they've effectively mechanized sliding block puzzles into a stealth platformer. No thank you.

Rabbit Rush pulls a Frog Fractions.

I was curious for the gameplay... then things happen.... it's.. interesting.

I've got a 2-year old daughter we named Scarlett. After she was born, I started noticing how many games have come out since that featured the name (Borderlands, Mortal Kombat, Dead Nation, Ventica, Killer is Dead). Now there's just a straight-up video game.

Sounds like FROSTBYTE did the music for that rabbits game and I really dug the things interference was doing.

@Patrick Klepek do yourself a favour and go back to Rabbit Rush and play it a little bit more. it has a little bit more to offer than just the rabbit part... there is a reason why such a minimalistic game runs on the unity engine :)

Interference looks a lot like Mark of the Ninja. Not a bad thing by any means.

EDIT: So after playing some Rabbit Rush, you guys should really play Rabbit Rush. Patrick didn't get to it, but there's some more really cool stuff to that game. http://www.rabbit-rush.com/

did you have your controller set up wrong or something in kinoko and gal? the forward-every-few-seconds thing almost seems like it was slightly off center
