You don't have dreams often, Patrick, only after you've been drinking? So you have dreams constantly then, no?

I just wrote way too many words about Gridrunner++ in the worth reading comments, but dunno if I should paste them here. Go look if you want. I love the crap out of that game.

Man I love all those sound effects from Grid Runner ++. Robotron voices, Joust respawns, Defender explosions, and of course the Marilyn "ooh" from Taxi.

You do dream multiple times every night, you just don't remember them.

Most people dream 3+ times a night, so you don't remember most of them. There is a genetic disorder called fatal familial insomnia (FFI) that disallows the victim from entering REM sleep and eventually prevents any sleep. Upon onset, the patient will usually progress from standard insomnia to paranoia, memory retention difficulties, hallucinations, complete sleep cessation, dementia, loss of motor control, and finally death around 2 years after the first symptoms manifest. FFI is a genetic disorder with no current cure, but thankfully it's incredibly rare. Only 40 families are known to carry the mutation.

So, Patrick, I really hope you dream much more than you think, because this disease seems like complete torture. Can't imagine being trapped in a state of nodding off and never being allowed so much as a nap. Now, if you will excuse me, there are more people I have to bum out before the weekend.

Dream fishing looks really good.

If I do dream, then I haven't been able to remember a single one in years.

I also very rarely have dream experiences that I remember upon waking, at most twice or three times a year. When i was younger this was not the case, but most of them were fairly vivid nightmares that I can still remember to this day. I've always figured this was my brain eventually just finding a way to avoid dealing with something that as a 5 or 6 year old, was absolutely terrifying.

Everyone has dreams, you just don't remember them. With a little effort you can remember at the very least the last dream you have before you wake up

The Jeff Minter game seems like something which should have been in Catherine.

... Well maybe without the Monty Monty Python bit.

gosh Sophie Houlden's games are great. And that Fishing Game jam! BEST JAM!

I rarely have dreams, which is a real bummer because I love thinking about my dreams in the rare mornings I have them. I have thought about going through nightly processes to help me dream at night and remember them (like keeping a detailed dream journal) but I've never pulled the trigger. Maybe I should get into that.

Gridrunner++ seemed really generic and not interesting to me, despite everyone else being into it. Wonder what I'm missing about it.

Posted by HerbieBug

Some psych meds have given me a lot of dreams that i remember in detail upon waking. not nightmares, usually, just very vivid.

I can't help but FOC/US on that forehead zit.

It's funny; I thought I knew what Jeff Minter looked like. I always thought he was some regular-looking dude with a crew cut. I just looked him up, and... well, never has someone looked more appropriate.

I wonder what dream fish taste like.

Isn't remembering your dreams generally a sign that you didn't sleep all that well, or at least was woken up in the middle of REM sleep instead of in one of the lighter stages of sleep were you're inclined to wake up naturally?

I really want an EVE Online themed photography game, they already have at least one non-player journalist/news broadcasting corporation in the game, imagine a game where you play as one of their journalists, travelling space in an unarmed shuttle, having to negotiate your way with corps to get access to their nullsec systems and trying to get footage of space battles without getting blown up, and then sell the footage to the news media (or to the involved corps for use in their promotional videos!).

I don't really use the site often. Where can I find links for the games in the video? Seems odd to highlight games but not provide any links to get to those games. :(

For anybody that cares, the music featured in FO/CUS is by an ambient project called The Dead Texan, and the song is called 'When I See Scissors, I Cannot Help But Think Of You'.

The sound when you catch a Fish in Dream Fishing is from Garageband>Smart Keyboard Setting>Polarize Keyboard >Autoplay One. I know this cause I totally thought It was from a song I posted on my soundcloud. https://soundcloud.com/sabrewolf85/space-jam unfortunately I am not that lucky.
