Looks, really damn awesome to me.

This game looks terrible.

Going to have to wait for a review or quick look of this game before making up my mind. The story and RPG elements could be a lot of fun. But I was not won over by that trailer.

I was not excited about this game. I'll watch the QL but it does not seem to be a must buy at this time.

It's amazing how quickly they managed to dash my hopes for this game. What a joke.

I hope they surprise me because that trailer looked terrible.

The game sounds like it could have been awesome, but still seems like it could be too linear for its own good. I guess that's probably why Activision buried this game by not advertising it.

Also, I love the jock character in the game, who signals that he's a jock because he's wearing a muscle shirt and he's holding a football!

I'm hoping the Ql will save this. I want to play a new X-men game but this looks just awful.

The Characters you have to pick from just seem so generic.

I think it looks cool. Not sure why the comments are so negative.

Pretty dull and hideous looking, but I don't know that it's reasonable to expect any better from the people behind Too Human.

@SpacePenguin: All three look like complete tools. With all superhero games based on comic ip, they should either let us create our own or be one of our favorite character.

@stokerd: Not really. Those are MMOs with limited story. This is suppose to be more of the typical single player rpg.

It's hard to believe someone let this go ahead without character creation.

This game looks like it should already be difficult to find even in a bargain bins years after its release in 2006.

Recently rediscovering comic books (by introducing them to my son) has me excited to play a good Xmen game. I don't have high hopes for this though. Checking twitter today shows a few snarky comments from journalists.

Looks interesting but being that this season is already going to be flooded with awesome games I'm afraid that I'll have to hold off checking this one out.

Nolan North is Cyclops, it seems.

It's only reasonable because those people also made Eternal Darkness. I miss Eternal Darkness :(

I was really hoping for an openish world take on the Xmen where your selfmade character gets to make that choice along the way.That's what it seemed like they were going for in the initial announcements. A touch of Hogwarts I guess in terms of a secret school dipping into an insane world hidden in plain view. Rivals, love interests, allies all that. Oh well.

Depends on the circumstances, might even be accurate. The X-men are in SF now, and so are the Cal Golden Bears as their stadium is being renovated. I think I recall this character being a member of the Berkeley football team or wanting to be. So it's POSSIBLE if this all happened on a Saturday or so for the guy to be encountered in such a cliched way.

As a fan of Too Human I'm still hoping the gameplay might be fun, but visual this is really disappointing. Those character models look like they came from a last-gen game.

Graphically, it looks pretty bad. And the three characters that you choose from have some lousy designs to them.

I've seen 360 launch games that look better. Way to go, Silicon Knights.

Looks like it could be cool, but I don't trust SK enough for this to be a day one purchase. This is the studio that made Too Human, after all. I will wait for a few more reviews and videos to trickle out, before I decide.

I don't really get some of the complaints I'm hearing, though. It's impossible to gauge if the gameplay is "dull" from this trailer, and while the graphics aren't benchmark setting, they seem adequate.

I find it interesting that this trailer has dialogue but almost no shots of people actually saying their dialogue other than (presumably) Wolverine saying 'no'. Makes me wonder if their voice sync stuff is bad and they are trying to hide the flapping goldfish mouths.

Also, the three characters you get to pick from look pretty dull. Asian that seems to be a rip off of Psylocke, football star that looks kind of like Colossus when he's not in metallic form, and Cole from inFamous. If only all my local rental shops weren't shuttering their doors I'd give this a try.

I really wished this game looked like it was going to be better than it probably will. I'm an idiot, so I'll probably buy it, though.

I was holding out a tiny shred of hope, then I learned it's coming out tomorrow.

I wouldn't mind it if we got to create the character. As it is there, there is something definitely lacking with these choices.

I can't stand the look of the generics. The girl I can kind of give a pass for, but the guy just looks like some douche in jeans and a shirt walking around all these traditionally designed super heroes in bright spandex. The two don't work together.

I hate how crappy the people look in this...is it really that hard to make decent character models in this day and age?

I laughed at the idea that someone would challenge Cyclops to a staring contest.

I don't get why making your own character wasn't like-- priority #1 in this game.

Lpoking forward to play this. But too bad it didn't release in June or July as I most likely would bought this then. But now, in late September the week after Gears 3, it's a rental.

I really fucking hope this is good. I know it probably won't be, but Eternal Darkness is basically my favorite game of all time. I want to see Silicon Knights make another game with fantastic writing and interesting gameplay mechanics.
