Xbox One Launchtacular: Part 03

The best part about Kinect is watching people try to use Kinect.

Haven't seen this in forever, thanks for that.

I'm still bamboozled by how the Kinect expects you to talk to interact with the One, but then you have some titles that punish you for doing the talking to our consoles we've always done: cussing. Madness! :P

Have to say, with both launches more interested in an Xbox. Being on the fence last gen. owning both and recently having picked up a Vita I don't get all the Kinect hate, there's some cool stuff there. Dead Rising looks great!

@edmundus: Thanks, yeah must have been the youtube version. Stinks, because the site player is slow and crashes alot like usual.

I find it hilarious in the Ryse multiplayer that when it goes all "slow-mo" for the kill, you can see the other player running around at full speed.

The youtube version is only 47 minutes. You need to watch the site's version that is 1 hour and 49 minutes.

And goes up to 1 hour 23 min. Have fun!

I plan to come back a CHANGED MAN the next time I'm in the office. I"m actually going to give P90X a shot.

Brad is a bit of an airhead. Kinda doesn't understand what the fuck anybody is saying fairly often.

It annoys me people hating on Ryse I'm sooo sick of modern military shooters, future shooters and fantasy stuff it's been done sooo many times. Sure Ryse might not be super deep but at least it's bloody difrent I love the idea of playing as a normal ass centuran. No dragons or magic bullshit real life history (kinda). I wish more people would get on board with this sort of stuff, and not bullshit like CoD:Ghosts I am so fucking sick of those kinda games and if we have another generation of oh-rah bro shooters I'm gonna be pissed! I want games set in ancient Greece, Rome, ancient Egypt, WW1, Blade Runner cyberpunk stuff (just not a shooter), Underwater on Europa anything new please devs please!

Ryse is garbage.

Good to see Patrick getting his ass kicked by P90X, too.

This stream actually convinced me that I won't ever need an Xbox.

Is it just me or is the streaming not youtube version having serious issues with data transfer? Getting brutal pausing. Youtube version stops at 45 minutes so that's not great.

Edit: HTML 5 version runs just fine, has full length.

Vinny has an uncanny ability to find exactly the things that Xbox One can't do at the time.

I wish they actually tried to throw real punches with good form instead of trying to fake or trick the kinect. I know that with the wii motes you could just flick your wrist instead of actually simulating a tennis swing, but maybe the developers actually coded this game to recognize real punches.

Watching the Ryse multiplayer bit just makes me wish all the more that Shadow of Rome gotta sequel, complete with a little cooperative somethin' or other.

So that P90x stuff was awesome! I won't use it I like going to the gym rather than working out at home, but the way it showed which muscles were activated through i'm guessing body heat was really awesome. Showed how much the core is worked out even while doing simple leg workouts.

Thought the thumbnail was Heavy and Sniper, duking it out.
