So close!

Edited by MeatSim

Confirmed, this game has ladies.

Posted by yoshimitz707

Wow, can't even be bothered to wire anything constructive for the quest?

Posted by daycru
@yoshimitz707: u mad?
Posted by sergeantz

Looks like they won't cut a huge chunk out of this one, so I'm interested.

You guys below are the worst.
I'm excited for Yakuza 4.

Posted by Skogen

As interesting as these Yakuza games seem, the visuals look painfully bad.

Posted by Yummylee

Looks identical to Yakuza 3, but the game has a nice look to it anywhoo, so s'all good.

Posted by max3000

Dude looks like a model imported from a PS2 game. (The lady looks nice)

Posted by IamTerics

I heard this is better than Yakuza 3 in every single way. Also it comes out the same time as the Zombie themed one comes out in Japan.

Now if only Sega would stop pretending that it's 'too hard' to localise a quiz minigame.
Coming up with different questions must be the most difficult job in the world!

I gotta say, after playing Yakuza 3 and finding out that it is fun as shit, I am very excited for Yakuza 4.

Posted by MarkWahlberg

I don't often make awkward small talk with women who are paid to be nice to me, but when I do, I do it in Yakuza 4.

@daycru: Already gotten the quest like 4 times so no not really.
Posted by dagas

Only played Yakuza 2, but I loved it. Great that they don't cut stuff from this like they did in yakuza 3.

Posted by Chubbaluphigous

Alright, now I'm interested. Maybe. If there is nothing coming out around it, then I'll probably buy it.

Well, that was creepy.

true relationships -> hostesses

i want to buy a ps3 for this title

Posted by Hyperfludd

This is a dark trailer.

Replace the narrator with Jeff's creepy voice and we've got ourselves a winner.

Ahhhhh Japan

Edited by PenguinDust

Awesome, virtual non-sexual relationships with Japanese ladies.   A dating sim in a hyper violent open world game?  Sure, yes why not?  This could be fun.

Posted by shinluis

NOW I'M stoked about it!

Posted by metalsnakezero

Now this is the Yakuza game I want.

I don't think women you pay money to spend time with count as "real relationships". And what was with the close up hand shots? I don't mean to offend any "otaku" here (actually, I kind of do because 90% of you are annoying), but Japan is a weird goddamn place.

@PenguinDust: Eventually they can lead to sexual relationships if you butter them up enough.  Although after you get any one girl in the sack it's considered "finished" and there's no real point to doing anything else with her since you cease to get any experience from her.

I heard if you buy the Collectors edition you get a real lifelike blow up doll.  I've pre-ordered....good times await!!

Posted by Beforet

Might be interested, might be. Yakuza has been on my radar for quite some time. So long as I don't need to have played the other games to understand this one, I might drop into the series here.

Posted by Mikular

This looks a bit dull, to be honest, referring to both the game and this dating sim sub-game. The overblown jazz a la Deadly Premonition (which, in fairness, I loved) doesn't help either.

See just like real life!  Hostesses are creepy.  The whole dress like a pagent model/showgirl thing is just scary.
Posted by Valentino

What the hell was that guy saying? Sounded like he was about to fall asleep at any second.

Posted by Malphye

Your going to have to do a lot better then pimp out these ladies in a trailer to convince me to buy it.

Posted by PenguinDust
@Armada:  Love'm and leave'm, huh?  Ah, the life of dashing Yakuza enforcer.  It could almost rival that of Charlie Sheen.
Posted by GozerTC

They really do throw everything and the kitchen sink in these games. :)

Posted by Shirogane

They're so going to cut hostesses again. This trailer is just a tease. Kinda of like how the thugs in 3 keep telling you to take their monies and go to the hostess clubs, which don't exist, after you beat them. D=
Posted by Hairy_Fish

That was a really good ad.

Posted by JackSukeru

I enjoyed this video, though can't say I find any of those virtual ladies particularly appealing.
Or the game for that matter, I might still check out a demo for it if they put one out.

Posted by MikkaQ

I want this game a lot, but hearing about the multiple characters doesn't excite me that much. I just want to be Kazuma Kiryu the mob-boss, and command respect using my fists instead of my credentials. But oh well, we'll see how this turns out. I just wish these were subtitled in English as they make them so we can get simultaneous releases. I hate hate hate it when Japanese companies pull that.

I'll wait for the Ouran High School Host Club DLC

Posted by dyong

Can't wait for Hostess, the game where you're a girl entertaining yakuza!

Posted by Redharlow

I see none of those women making him a sandwich so the female position is sorely understated.

Posted by Bigheart711

As soon as I saw the title, I jumped in and watched the video! :D

Posted by m0rdr3d

Heard Yakuza 3 had random battles so I shyed away from it... Someone convince me to play it anyway... I'm looking for an excuse. Are they bad?
Posted by Metric_Outlaw

Oh man I thought they meant like twinkies and cupcakes.
