Qualifying as a barrister in 1994, he began his career in interactive entertainment with games publisher Europress in 1997 and their only in-house counsel. After the purchase of Europress by Hasbro Interactive in 1999, Scheurer began working at UK law firm Osborne Clarke under the interactive entertainment team. Leaving Osborne Clarke in 2004, Scheurer formed Sarassin LLP, a London-based legal and business affairs consultancy for game publishers and other organisations involved in interactive entertainment.
Vincent authored the video games section of legal textbook, Entertainment Law Handbook, which was published by Law Society Publishing in March 2007.
