They were driving home one foggy night and hit him going around 80 clicks, so they wrapped him up in a carpet and put him in the trunk but on the way to dump him in a river they noticed he was still alive.

I heard some of the old hotspots, and I think Vinny said he became a video editor/producer for Gamespot because of Carrie Gouskos. Vinny had been a long time Gamespot user, and at the time, I think the site needed a video editor. Carrie asked Vinny if he wanted the job, and boom, he became the man you all know today...I guess.
