Poll Who Is Your Main Character? (10 votes)

    Akira 0%
    Aoi 10%
    Brad 0%
    Eileen 10%
    El Blaze 0%
    Goh 0%
    Jacky 0%
    Jean 10%
    Jeffry 0%
    Kage 0%
    Lau 0%
    Lei-Fei 10%
    Lion 10%
    Pai 0%
    Sarah 20%
    Shun Di 10%
    Taka-Arashi 0%
    Vanessa 20%
    Wolf 0%

So my main character has changed with every Virtua Fighter I've played. I started with Jacky in Virtua Fighter 1 then moved to Akira. Then it was Shun Di in Virtua Fighter 2. In Virtua Fighter 5, despite messing around with all of the characters and really liking Sarah, my favorite character is Lei-Fei. He's fucking awesome. He's so damn fast and combos so well. And he actually hits pretty hard. If I'm doing it right I can get people down to half of their life with one combo. He's great to play.

aoi is real interesting and her stance which stops all (except full circle) mid/high strikes adds some real cool mind games. she also has some stuff which counters high and or mid. that said she has real low damage but the way you can control the pace of the match defensively makes up for that.

    also eileen cuz monkey tricks.

Aoi always felt really stiff to me. I couldn't get her combos to flow very well. Plus I'm not that good at countering.

    Wrong franchise.

I don't care. My answer is "Yoshimitsu."

Your loss. Lei-Fei would kick Yoshimitsu's ass.
