Is Bart cool enough to survive Virtual Reality.
Virtual Bart was one of the many Simpsons games released on back in the early 90s. In this game you play as Bart who stumbles on a virtual reality machine, like the cool dude he is, Bart decides to give it a try, and that's pretty much the set up for the game. The VR machine is actually a wheel that Bart is placed in and is then spun, the wheel is adorned with various level icons and wherever Bart's heads pointing when the wheel stops is the level he must complete. The levels themselves are much more creative than in standard licensed games, theirs your standard Simpsons fair like a Springfeild Elementry level where bart has to throw as many tomatoes as he can at classmates and a level that apes the famous waterslide that Homer got stuck in, but their are also more creative levels such as a level where Bart is turned into a dinosaur, and one which parodies Road Rash. A couple of the levels feature extensive mode-7 effects, and the game is adorned with (primitive, but impressive for the 16-bit medium)cutscenes depicting Bart's adventure.
