    The Virtual Console is a platform service that first appeared on Nintendo's Wii and later on the 3DS and Wii U. Games from past consoles are emulated to run on the new hardware with the added benefits of system-level save states and other features.

    Are those the only NES games up? I didn't even look @ the whole list, just hit to get CV III...

    Edit: I guess not cos I'm sure it also has Bubble Bobble and Metroid among others on it :-P

    Get either CV 3 or Life Force, you won't be disappointed with either.

    I would get Star Tropics, that game is surprisingly good. It may feel weird and you may call it out as a Zelda clone, but the game will win you over eventually.

    For everything it borrows from other games, StarTropics is a pretty unique, overlooked title.  I recommend it.
