Virtual Soccer is a soccer game that uses a vertically-oriented perspective of the pitch with a slight Mode 7 angle. In Japan the game is known as J-League Super Soccer and features clubs from the national J.League, while the European version features international teams. Virtual Soccer was developed by Probe Entertainment, a UK company, and published by Hudson.

The following international sides are represented in Virtual Soccer: England, Scotland, Ireland (referred to as Eire), France, Belgium, Holland (The Netherlands), Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Cameroon, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Portugal and Spain.
