Many of the games released for the Nintendo Wii take 'advantage' of the controls available by forcing the player to shake or 'waggle' the Wii remote and/or nunchuk. Waggling generally does not require skill on the part of the player only seizure-like movements.

Waggle is the act of waving or shaking a controller randomly and with no real direction or pattern.  Waggle has taken the place of  button-mashing in many video games currently available for the Nintendo Wii.  Waggle is usually portrayed negatively due to the lack of skill required to carry it out.  The term was popularized when the Nintendo Wii launched in 2006 and was used to describe some of the more basic motion controls in games such as Wii Sports, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Rayman: Raving Rabbids; however, it's sometimes used to describe motion controls in general.  Waggle controls have become more prominent in minigames in order to simplify controls for casual users.

The 2009 announcement of Microsoft's Project Natal sparked the coning of the term "full-body waggle" a term alluding to some of the skepticism the device was met with.
