Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade

Dark Crusade is Relic's second expansion pack to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, adding even more units and two new races to the game. The game itself is also available as a stand-alone game without needing the full game or the previous expansion.

Armor

A Protective Clothing
Armored Personnel Carrier

The APC lends protection from small-arms fire to infantry units in transit. An element of 20th and 21st century warfare, it is often depicted in futuristic settings.
Automated Sentry Gun

A stationary gun that automatically shoots at targets.
Bolt Pistol

The Bolt Pistol is a 0.75 caliber one handed weapon that is often utilized coupled with a melee weapon. The Bolt Pistol fires self propelled rounds called bolts.
Boltgun

The Boltgun, otherwise known as a Bolter, is a 0.75 caliber weapon, and is the standard issue weapon of the Space Marines. The Boltgun fires self propelled rounds called bolts.
Chainsword

The Chainsword is a one handed mechanized weapon that has whirring sawteeth along the edge of it's sword-like length. It is one of the primary close combat weapons of the Imperium in Warhammer 40,000.
Daemonhammer: Godsplitter

Godsplitter is a holy relic of the Ordo Malleus branch of the Imperial Inquisition. It is a daemonhammer meant to kill warp spawned daemons in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.
Dreadnought

A critically wounded space marine, entombed in a combination life-support device/giant bi-pedal assault mech.
Force Stave

The Force Stave is a weapon that takes advantage of the wielder's psychic energy. A common Force Weapon for Imperial Psykers and Space Marine Librarians.
Gun

Considered one of the most frequent and controversial implements of destruction in video games and real life, guns are devices that fire projectiles with explosive force.
Hammer

A blunt tool used to hit things, whatever those things may be... a nail, a person.
Heavy Bolter

The Heavy Bolter is a motor fed 1.00 caliber weapon, known for its high rate of fire and long range.
Jet Pack

A Jet pack is a backpack with rocket boosters built in that usually allows the wearer to hover or fly.
Land Raider

The Land Raider is a heavy transport gun platform. Used to carry Space Marine's elite into battle and destroy everything in its path.
Lasgun

Main weapon of the Imperial Guard. One of the weakest infantry weapons in the Warhammer 40,000 universe
Missile

An explosive ordinance propelled by a rocket engine designed to blow an object to smithereens. A missile is often guided, in some way, to its target. For example; by laser, remote control, or computer/GPS.
Plasma Pistol

This particular Plasma Pistol can be found in the bleak Warhammer 40,000 setting. It is a one-handed weapon that utilizes magnetic fields to accelerate plasma towards its target. The Plasma Pistol allows for a melee weapon to be used in the opposite hand.
Power Armor

Power armor (also referred to as a powered exoskeleton) is a form of full-body armor, that uses electronics and micromachinery to enhance the wearer's performance.
Power Fist

Considered by many to be the ultimate weapon in unarmed combat. The Power Fist rends flesh and breaks bones over many sci-fi universes.
Powersword

In Warhammer 40,000, the Powersword is a long bladed weapon with a built in force field generator that generates an energy field around the blade. The force field allows the sword to pierce armor.
Predator Tank

Primary assault vehicle for the Space Marines of Warhammer 40,000.
Rhino

Armored troop carrier most notably used by the Space Marines, the cowards. The fools!
Self Propelled Gun

Self propelled guns are artillery pieces that have engines to make themselves move. In many cases they are fully enclosed and to the untrained observer appear to be tanks.
Shuriken Pistol

The Shuriken Pistol is a one handed Eldar weapon. It uses gravitic propulsion to launch disks one molecule thick.
Smoke Grenade

Canister type grenades used to obscure the enemy's view of the advance or retreat of friendly troops; also used to mark objects of interest such as landing zones, mission objectives, navigational landmarks, as well as targets for artillery or air strikes.
Sniper Rifle

The weapon of choice for accuracy at long distances. The sniper rifle's slow rate of fire makes it ineffective for close range combat, but its high calibre round ensures that it inflicts maximum damage against the target.
Sword

A length of exceptionally sharp metal with a handle, used for centuries as the go-to killing device for the human race. It's dead simple: you stick the pointy end in the thing you want to die. Or you could always slash them with the equally sharp sides. That works too.
Witchblade

The Witchblade is an Eldar melee weapon that utilizes the users psychic ability to strengthen its attacks.
