It's kinda neat to think back to Wario's early games on the original Game Boy and see how he went from "the evil Mario" status to his own character, with his own loyal fanbase and distinct contributions to gaming.

Not to mention Warioware's part in giving me twitchy fingers and bloodshot eyes... =P

Absolutely, Wario Land Shake It! looks great. A fun-looking platformer with the shaking mechanic of Zack & Wiki taken to the next level. This was certainly  my favorite game Nintendo showed at E3, a lot better than that Wii Music stuff!

This one is on my GF's christmas wishlist. I'll probably get it. These games on the gameboy had lots of replayability.

You're also into Devil May Cry... Which is like the lamest game I've ever played.

If you're not a Wario Land fan then this is no place for you!

Yeah, let's use ad hominems to justify our arguments guys!

    You shut up.

This game *does* look slow and boring. The graphics are dated and "simplistic" controls as a feature almost always seem to be a ridiculous excuse for dumbed down gameplay (see Fable 2 for exceptions). Even the Wii's graphics can handle something more than that.

The reviews of it haven't been so hot, but I need a reason to dust off my Wii, so maybe I'll play it anyway.

God, I pity those of you hating on one of the few 2D disc games coming out.

    This game looks awesome.

When has Wario games ever been fast-paced?

How are the graphics dated?  You don't really see much 2D platformers on consoles anymore.  The art style is one of the best IMO.

Excuse me? Since when where pain-stakingly frame-by-frame hand drawn graphics and motion controls dumbed down gameplay? If anything this game is a step in the right direction for 2D platforming.
Sorry it's not 3D and Filled with Quick Time Events like the billions of totally awesome God of War clones out there.
