    A Classic RTS

Warrior Kings Battles may have passed it's sell by date a couple of years ago to competing Strategy games. But in it's day Warrior Kings Battles was one of the best strategy games around. Thankfully this was due to it's classic simple and inivitive nature. This is one of the main reasons why it is always a joy to go back to. It uses the rock paper scissors mechanic beautifully, you'll always know which unit is best for the job, but always leaves room for more in dept strategies in combat if desired. The economic role to the game is also one of Warrior Kings Battles strengths. The mechanic is easy to use, the buildings are visually appealing and the branching tech tree is fit for a king. You are spoiled for choice and imagination in choosing between an Imperial path, Pagan, Renaissance or a mix of them all. Each having there own strengths and weaknesses.

The graphics may be outdated but Warrior Kings Battles has all of the key elements in a great strategy game, and that said must be a bargain if you can find a copy.
