If You Ever Wanted To Try A Dynasty Warriors Game, This Is It 0

You may or may not have played a Dynasty Warriors game by now. If you have you would know the basics of what to expect from this latest installment to the series. If you haven’t, well there really isn’t a real draw for the undecided that sit on the fence. However, I will say this much, if you ever wanted to try your hand at a Dynasty Warriors game, this is the one to do it. This game is the most polished and improved upon game in the series. Even with its lack of the traditional storylines, whic...

Dynasty Warriors 26. I mean, Samurai Warriors 18. I mean, Warrior 0

Is there a reason Koei keeps making these games? Do they really sell? Is there a market for clone after clone after clone after clone of an engine, name, and story? The Dynasty Warriors formula was new and exciting, with Dynasty Warriors 2, a launch game for the PS2. 8 years later, it's not so new and exciting. This is a very simple review. If you've played one Dynasty Warriors game in your life, you have essentially played this game. And the next DW/Samurai Warriors game. And the next one aft...

An Underrated Gem 0

I know it's a mindless hack and slash game and it doesn't exactly have the best resolutions and at times the voice acting and stories are contrived. But this game is an underrated gem. It's extremely addictive, and will consume hours of your life if you give it a chance to. There are tons of weapons and characters and outfits to unlock and upgrade and a few really interesting scenarios to play. Some of the characters are actually interesting, there's a lot of content, and the game has a ton of r...

Exciting, Original, Immersive. This is everything Orochi is not, 0

Koei's Warriors Orochi is a combination of the Dynasty Warrior and Samurai Warriors franchise. While the game may seem like a fresh idea, it is left with the same characters you will find in both games and the same repetitive gameplay you would come to expect from both games. There are four different campaigns: Shu, Wu, Wei and a campaign revolving around the Samurai Warriors portion. The storylines are all vary, depending on the faction you chose, but the same structure is used for each factio...

What is this I don't even... 0

Warriors Orochi is... well you know Dynasty Warriors? And you know Samurai Warriors? Well it’s those two games’ characters put together into one game. Sounds interesting? Kinda. Is it? Not really. Warriors Orochi delivers the same hack and slash action you’d expect from any Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors game, period. What makes Warriors Orochi kind of unique from its counterparts is the ability to deploy three characters from the faction you’re playing with on the battlefield. This can o...

A Dynasty of Mediocrity. 0

Warriors Orochi is the newest beat ‘em up from Koei. Like previous games in the Dynasty Warriors series, Warriors Orochi is a button hammering mess of brain-dead NPC’s and timeworn combat. The daemon Orochi has come from another dimension to challenge the greatest warriors from the Dynasty Warriors series. Though the games, story modes you will unravel the mystery of why this daemon has come and what’s in-store for him.In Warriors Orochi, there are four different story modes, yet there is really ...
