Wart is the main villian of Super Mario Bros 2. In an attempt to conquer Sub-Con he built a Nightmare Machine which filled the world with monsters. When the player fights Wart in his castle, he stands on a high platform and spits streams of bubbles from his mouth, while a machine in the center of the room randomly throws vegetables around. Wart is allergic to vegetables, and can only be defeated after enough of them are thrown into his mouth.
As the main antagonist of the US version of Super Mario Bros. 2, Wart is the final boss in the game. He was also featured in Doki Doki Panic, on which the same Mario installment is based.
