I am in Europe and after preloading the game yesterday, the download button was replaced with play. Just for fun I hit it, expecting to be told that it will unlock on he 27th but it boots up fine and you can play the singleplayer. Runs like garbage on my pc so will need to take a look at the settings. Just letting you guys know if you are getting it on pc.

What are your specs? Curious if they're comparable to mine.

Hey was out and about.

I bought my key from MMOGA if it makes any difference, as opposed to on steam or uplay direct.

I have not had time to play it more than a few minutes but I dropped the settings and it seems ok now.

I have 2 Ati Radeon HD 5800 cards hooked up. 6 gigs of ram and an Intel Core i5 cpu 670 at 3.47 ghz, pretty sure it is on my SSD drive as well.

AMD drivers for the game aren't out yet, so yeah it won't run great.

Anyone else able to preload this game? I am in the mid east right now but am going to buy it from a US server via a proxy. Is uPlay doing a preload of Watch_Dogs? @supes do you have the deluxe edition perhaps? maybe that's why you were able to pre-load?

@tvle83: I bought it through Uplay and they didn't even send me the code to add it to my library yet, much less let me actually pre-load it.

@humanity ok, thanks for the info. I guess I'll just wait instead of trying to figure out how to get it early. I am dreading it, though cause im in the middle east at the moment, the free WiFi caps at about 200k and there will be 10s of thousands of people downloading at midnight so it'll be even slower.

This seems to have released already on AUS steam, so this is good news.

When do reviews come up?

I live in Europe too, but the game isn't even showing in my game library. Weird.

I think reviews are up at just after midnight, in the US anyway. Just home from work now, going to give a proper go after dinner. Updated the drivers yesterday and it seems to run fine now, so will play with the settings.

Pleasant surprise. Loving it so far though, even if the UI can be a little overwhelming when you're profiling.

Well it doesn't seem to like my multimonitor setup, so that's pretty fucking lame so far. Unless theres something i'm missing in the settings its just deciding to zoom everything right in.

Which is pretty great when it cuts off the top half of everyones faces.

On topic of Uplay - normally I don't have many problems with it, I think it's alright for what it does and at least it's visibly getting better with frequent updates. That said this was the first time I pre-purchased something on Uplay, simply because the price happened to be the best, and boy is it a pretty shoddy experience. The game is not showing up in my library and I assume you wait for them to either add it or send you another e-mail with a code.. thats the thing, I have no clue. They've quite literally taken my money and sent me an e-mail saying thanks. On Steam it adds the game to your library and even lets you know how many days/hours till it unlocks. Here - nothing. Funniest thing is that if I go to buy it they are more than happy to sell me another copy, however that would work.

So yah in short, not that happy with my Uplay pre-purchasing. I haven't tried Origin ever, but Steam still seems to be the best in making you feel like you own this ethereal piece of digital goods.

Looks half as good as AC4 and runs half as well. Driving is bad.

You might want to check the Steam page, for me it's showing 18h until game unlocks and that's for EU. For NA/SA, you can probably add another 6 hours into that. (that might be for the DLC)

Nope and I'm really annoyed at that. Stayed up til midnight so i could download it for the next day.

Guess what : Not even in my Uplay library even after restarting it a dozen times over 6 hours. And my preorder confirmation says Nov 21 ?????

I'm waiting til either it unlocks or until Ubisoft phone lines are open here in Europe at 11AM GMT to vent my rage on them.

Wish I had gone with Steam. Only chose Uplay cos of a special 24hr deal that had 20 quid off. :-(

Oh and the Uplay support twitter ? They just bounce you onto Ubisoft support who don't answer in a timely manner. How can they call that good customer support ?

Although I didn't order mine thro Steam. I looked on my Steam and their version @ Midnight wasn't going to unlocked for another 18hrs..Oh wait its now 8.53am and it says its gona unlock in an hour. Clearly there has been a massive FUCK UP. How hard is it for them to allow/unlock the digital release, when shitty console players are "enjoying" their crappy release??!?! It doesn't help that they haven't kept customers properly informed. Im more than annoyed with Uplay, just gives me more and more reason to stick to Steam.... Still not showing on my UPLAY...They could atleast show it to put others at ease.... :(
