I'm sure you all remember the cinematic masterpiece known as The Dark Knight. Indeed, the best superhero film ever made. My question to you is, do you remember a little old flick known as Watchmen in the trailers leading up to it?

I certainly do. When I first saw the preview I was, in a word, baffled. What the hell is this superhero knock-off movie? What's with that stupid-ass owl costume that guy is wearing? I dismissed the movie shortly thereafter only to be blown away by The Dark Knight on three different occassions. The film quickly vanished from my radar for a while until I checked out an episode of the

It's clear, just from the delivery of some of the lines in the trailer, that this film will not be as good as many of us want it to be.

I do remember that Watchmen trailer... I actually thought it was for X-Men Legends: Wolverine or Magneto when it first started.
It does look like a great movie though.

I'm still psyched for the movie, despite the changes that it has in it.

Watchmen was your first graphic novel?  Damn, you dove in head first, man.  Might I suggest you check out:

Batman: The Long Halloween (as well as the sequel, Dark Victory)
Hush (as well as the sequel Hush Returns)
    Sin City Complete
    Y: The Last Man
    Alan Moore's Swamp Thing
100 Bullets (not really a graphic novel, but there are trade paperback collections of the comics)
    V for Vendetta
    Ronin

I just finished it, and felt really weird after the ending.....I knew from the outset that it would end leaving room for interpretation, but this.....Jeez, I gotta look at some alaylsis before I can even begin to make head or tail of it. And I will definetly check out some of the graphic novels you guys suggested. March can't come soon enough.
