I'm Relatively late to the Watchmen Party having only read the book for the first time in February this year, sothe Watchmen game was looking very interesting especially since the game was a brawler.The Plot of the game follows off a throwaway line in the Book/Movie with Rorshach and Nite Owl going after the escaped Criminal Underboss with the story presented in Watchmen Motion Comic-esque form although the story of the game really is quite lackluster.The combat in the game is very simplistic bu...1 out of 2 found this review helpful.
If you had told me a couple years ago that someone would make a video game based on the universe of Watchmen, I would've smacked you upside the head. If you had told me that game would be a beat 'em up game, I would have layed you out- a beat 'em up of Watchmen? The single most intellegent, though provoking disection of the human psyche available? I loved the Watchmen movie; I can’t say I was the biggest fan going in as I only read the graphic novel after watching the movie but it’s become my favorite comic book movie since. That being said I was looking forward to the Watchmen games but I’m sad to find I shouldn’t have gotten my hopes up. Watchmen: The End is Nigh is short, repetitive and not very fun.
