    A boss monster in Pikmin 2. Very little is known about the biology of the being.

    The Waterwraith is a strange creature in Pikmin 2. It is only found in the Submerged Castle cave, and the Bully Den challenge stage.

    In the Submerged Castle, it appears at random. It follows the Captains, and crushes all Pikmin in it's way, with it's massive stone rollers. It cannot be killed until the final floor, where it's weak to Purple Pikmin.

    Much about this creature remains unknown. He appears to be a humanoid mass of water, on top of it's stone rollers. Olimar stated that it maybe a creature anchored in another dimension.

    The Waterwraith has been compared to Giygas, of the Mother/Earthbound series.
