On Wednesday April 4th, 2012 Acquire has localised Way of the Samurai 4 in preparation for a North American release exclusively on PS3.

Although there's no word of a release date yet, or on a potential European release, thePlayStation Blog reports XSEED will publish a "fully uncut and uncensored" version of the game in the US.

Way of the Samurai was released in Europe by Rising Star Games, so it might make its way over eventually. Keep those fingers crossed.

As you can probably imagine from the title, players take control of a samurai. They can choose to help a resistance group known as the Disciples of Prajna defend a small Japanese town called Amihama from invaders, join the invaders, or take their place on a wobbly Japanese fence somewhere in between.

Way of the Samurai 3 was a blast. I could go for another helping easily.

The series is really interesting to me. I might jump on board with this one.

@FetchTheDubliners: Nope. Its been a PS3 Exclusive from the get go. And I don't think they will be making it a port for the xbox.

Nope, stories are different in each game.

That looks like Yakuza in Tokugawa Japan...yeah alright

@Commisar123: It's more like a japanese version of Fable. Execpt your choices actually matter. The last one had about 27 different endings and everytime you played you always got a different one.
