We Dare
Game » consists of 3 releases. Released Mar 11, 2011
Finally, a game that actually rewards you for shoving a Wii Remote down your pants. We Dare is a (debatably) erotic minigame collection intended to enliven romantic relationships.
Rated suitable by PEGI for ages 12 and up
I don't even know what that thing is. Great job explaining why this is baffling.
Edit: Just watched the trailer for the game. I'm sure what happens in the trailer is much more explicit than what happens in the game, or what will happen when actual people go through the misfortune of playing this game.
What better way to teach kids about sex than with a video game? Don't you remember the part from sex ed class where they taught you with couples flying through magic rings from the red switch course from Mario 64? I think this is a great idea and I applaud, um... the developer for trying.
Here's some screen shots I found for the game (one character looks rather slutty...I think she likes being spanked)

" @shadyspace said:Yup, that' Europe alright." Because Europe. "True. DoA Xtreme 2 is rated from 12 here as well despite all the bouncy breasts. We don't really care about skimpy bikinis here. DoA 4 on the other hand where they punch and kick is rated from 16. "
if i recall, i think Europe and specifically Germany allow sex or sex related games to be easily bought. I've read that they prefer games with more sex than games with more violence. Hence why this game probably has such a low rating for this. If you watch the rest of the trailer on youtube, its in German (i think).
You know, that makes sense to me. I'd rather kids watch porn than torture porn. Pretty much everyone engages in sex at some point in their life, but I think we can agree kids finding guns and shooting each other is a bad thing. I honestly don't understand, then, why violence is okay to expose to kids through the media but sexuality is not." @dagas said:

Also: This game looks like a fucking travesty.
Certainly not in the UK, we're rather prudish. Not US crazy though. Can't speak for mainland Europe. In fact I can see the UK getting an exception on this rating to make it at least 16+ rated." if i recall, i think Europe and specifically Germany allow sex or sex related games to be easily bought. Germany is also especially anti-violence.
" @LiquidPrince said:Except we're not talking about Torture-porn video games, we're talking about your average shooter that Europeans go freakin' nuts over. Then again, if I had no choice but to show porn or Saw to my child I would show them porn. But to give games such a low rating means that they are encouraging this behavior for children. Its not quite that bad, the average shooter will just get an "age 18" slapped on it and thats it, not really all that different from an M rating by the ESRB. Now of course there are exceptions, Gears of War and Condemned for example are indexed in Germany, but that are already the harder shooters out there.Except we're not talking about Torture-porn video games, we're talking about your average shooter that Europeans go freakin' nuts over.
On the other side The Void has an USK12 (PEGI16) rating in Germany and the whole Hot Coffee thing was a complete non-issue over here.
Yeah, 12 seems a bit weird for the game, given the trailer, but on the other side there doesn't really seem to be anything in the game itself that justifies an 16 rating.Giving this game a 12 means, "Oh yeah, I have no problem with 12 year olds spanking each others asses, or stripping in front of each other." "
" @GilbertMordinAndSullivan said:I think we actually agree on this mostly, but the fact is by the time they are 12, most kids will have "experimented" with their friends, often with one of the examples you gave. It just happens. I doubt this game encourages anything that kids wouldn't already be doing on a big sleepover party." @LiquidPrince said:Except we're not talking about Torture-porn video games, we're talking about your average shooter that Europeans go freakin' nuts over. Oh shit, somehow I ended up on the side of a terrible looking game about foreplay being appropriate for teens. Wellllll, I'm quitting the internet forever now.

I have no problem with 12 year olds spanking each others asses, or stripping in front of each other.Me neither.
I'm pretty sure the last thing a hormonally confused 12 year old needs is a game where you do evocative things with a wii remote/move controller as well as another human being. I probably would've been traumatized if I had to lick a wiimote with another person regardless of gender. But yeah. Europe.
The best part of this rating is maybe the giant "parental guidance advised" notice. 12 year olds playing this with parents?
