We Love Katamari

We Love Katamari, is the second game in the Katamari Damacy franchise, and adds many new features to the already great series! One of it's new features is the addition of cousins! Cousins, are well...cousins of the Prince. They each have their own little quirk that makes them unique, like Ichigo...who's a big (( or little )) strawberry! They don't really change the gameplay, but it's nice having a princey avatar, who isn't just "The Prince".

We Love Katamari, also ups tha scale of how big you roll your ball. It has larger stages...but the load times are a majort boot to the ass. In a large stage there are these little 40-second breaks where the game loads and you get to hear the king blab about ABSOLUTLEY nothing! If you have ADD, like my step-brother, you will of found something else to do, like chase butterflies...or whatever.

It also has a variety of stages like underwater, a town, a house, a sumo competition, "space", flower patches, etc... It adds some nice variety, so they're not ALL town and house stages like the first. It isn't as challenging as the first but it keeps you at a nice pace, and doesn't get you as frusturated. There are also nice little presents in the stages like hats, trumpets, and many other things.

We Love Katamari, despite the load times mid-stage, is a great game! It continues it's charm and fun, and does justice to the Katamari Damacy name. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 =)
