History of Property

Where the Wild Things Are is a children's picture book written by author Maurice Sendak, originally released in 1963. While the book only contains ten sentences worth of dialogue, it is considered a classic of children's literature.

The book was awarded the Caldecott Medal in 1964, won the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award, and was an ALAM notable book.
