The Wii Shop Channel was Nintendo's way of digitally distributing games. It includes WiiWare for newly developed games, as well as the Virtual Console for classic titles from various consoles and arcade systems.

I have 1500 Wii Points. What should I buy?

I have been browsing the store a bit and "nothing", gentlemen, is an acceptable answer. Unless you have a better idea.

Any of the Bit.Trip games.  I prefer Runner out of all of them.  Either of the Lost Wind games if you like 2D Metroid style games.  NyxQuest if you like challenging platformers.  Toki Tori if you like puzzle games.  World of Goo if you haven't purchased it on another device or the PC.  Mega Man 9 if you like hard, older platformers.  Fluidity is a fun platformer-ish game.

Most of those WiiWare games are 1000 points.  Spend the last 500 points on an NES or Master System game.

If you don't have any of the Bit.Trip games, get one.  Seriously, they are awesome.

There is a well done F-Zero rip-of called "Fast", I haven't played it myself, but people says it is worth the money. The reason I mention this game is because the team behind it has done killer effort with Wii-ware.

Yep, I'll get it when it comes out.

There's a compilation of those coming out soon for the 3DS I think. But I'll check them out thanks.

I'll check those out. I probably won't buy Bit.Trip, since there is a compilation of those coming out soon for the 3DS. Lost Winds 1 didn't seem like that much of  a great game, but I haven't checked out the second one yet so I'll look at that thanks. I already own World of Good and Mega Man 9 isn't my type of game. As for the other ones, I haven't really heard of them so I'll check them out.

    Thanks everyone!

That looks pretty good.  It looks like F-Zero GX.  I wonder how well it controls though.

@Agent47 Are you telling me you'd rather play Ocarina of Time on a small handheld rather than a TV?
