The Nintendo Wii U, the follow-up to the monstrously popular Nintendo Wii console, launched in North America on November 18th 2012.

Yeah, the issue is what? "This is what it looks like running on our upcoming NWU console" would have made it an issue. This is not.
Nine out of ten games on the MS conference being Kinect showelware is an issue, Move implementations being terrible is another issue, and Resistance 3 looking completely by the book FPS dull to a "What's the use of this?" degree is a huge issue.
We all assumed that. Developers will have only known about this console for a few months. There is no way they have those games running on Wii U hardware yet. Not up to that quality, anyway. It doesn't change anything. Those games are being brought to the Wii U. That's what the announcement was.
Wont most of these games already have been out for awhile by the time the WiiU launches? We all assumed that. Developers will have only known about this console for a few months. Exactly, I'm not sure why this story seems to be grabbing so much traction like it's some kind of scandal. I'm sure most of us just assumed that was the case immediately. Nintendo have been up front about it when asked, so it's not like they've been trying to pull one over on anyone. I guess people are clamouring for another Killzone 2 controversy?
