So it seems the last one was bugged and MB had to delete it. So here's the new GiantBomb's Wii U Network ID sharing thread! So go ahead and post them IDs!

GalaticBrofist suggested I added a "guide" so people will know how to send out friend requests. So here it is! This is just grabbed from his post.

1) Exchange IDs
You have an ID. I have an ID (i.e. mine is 'RichIGN'). However, we will both need each others IDs, and both must add each other through the Friends List. If you add me, but I don't add you, nothing is happening and I'll never know that you want to be friends, unless I directly learn your ID.

2) One-Way Requests

The is by far the easier method, assuming you know where to go. Making a friend request cannot be done through the Friend List. It must be done through Miiverse with these steps:

• - Load Miiverse
• - Go to User Menu (upper-left corner, with a small picture of your Mii)
• - The fourth option down says 'Search User'
• - Type in the name you want. (Say 'RichIGN')
• - The name must be specific (though case is not important)
• - View the profile
• - Towards the right side you'll see the Friend Request button, near 'Follow' and a drop-down arrow that allows you to Block or Report.
• - Want to request another? Head back to your User Menu.

yep, though it's annoying that "registering" in the friend list is a private friend code like request (needs both parties), and the miiverse is a separate "normal" request

The follow stuff is cool though, being able to follow, say press, when they obviously would want a more personal friends list and not wanna fill that up.

You are able to interact with the idea of 'friends' on Wii U in two places - your Friends List (via the Home menu) and your Miiverse hub, where you can see their updates as well as see incoming requests. The catch is these two areas allow you to add friends in different ways, even though both will display incoming requests.

That means you can add friends in the following two ways:

Clearly Nintendo needs to tighten up this experience, as pushing Requests out of the Friend List hub is utterly nonsensical. Still, for now, this is what we have to work with.

just an FYI if you were like me wondering why you aren't receiving friend requests on the miiverse... apparently you have to set it up first. Press Home button and then the friend list button. It wasn't quite obvious to me at first.

Added everyone on the table that I could. If you are going to add people, you should do it through Miiverse and not the Friends List.
