Hi all! Does anyone know how the save data for digital downloads of retail games works? Is it saved exactly the same as it would be for a physical game (i.e., I can pop in the physical disc and continue the save from playing the digital version, not that I know why you'd do that...) or is the save game tied to the game itself the way it is on the 3DS. The reason I ask is because on the 3DS if you delete a game, the save goes with it. If that's going to be the case on a 32GB Wii U, where I may have to delete games to make room for new ones periodically, I'm not sure I want to even go down the path of digital versions of games.

    Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!
