Super Nintendo Inspired Pro Controller

#1 Edited by Wong_Fei_Hung (642 posts) -

EB Games Australia are now listing a third-party variant of a Wii U Pro Controller, titled "SNES Version". The listing has the controller priced at AUD $48 (USD $49), which is around $30 less than the estimated price for the real Pro Controller. It's out on November 30th. I love those Super Famicom colours...

That looks absolutely fantastic. And it actually costs less?

Took me a while too notice the SNES controller within the controller.

I'd prefer something official, but at this cost it's a good deal

I have the Japanese Super Famicon controller for the Wii. Works like a charm. This I'm not so sure about... I sometimes wonder if I'd rather Nintendo just re-release the SNES again. Carts 'n all.

Its like I left my 360 controller and a Super Nintendo controller in the oven.

Looks like a MadCatz abortion.

It's cool lookin', but I don't usually go for 3rd party peripherals, and a cosmetic difference isn't going to change that.

Fucking gross, preying on nostalgia with a really shitty photoshop concept.
