The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.

    Anyone use S-Vdeo for there Wii?

    The dark colors seem darker, and the textures appear slightly sharper; that's what I've noticed when I used S-Video for my Wii. It's no component output, but it's somewhat better than composite.

    Have you used Component before? Because Im currently using Component and I'll be getting a new TV soon and I have no choice but to get Svideo for my Wii. So if you have, have you noticed a difference between them two?

    Yeah, I made the upgrade to component eventually. I was still playing the system in 480i since the TV I was playing on was neither an HDTV nor an EDTV. I didn't notice too much of a difference from component to S-Video though.

    Component are alot better than S-Video, just saying. But hey, its better than using composite, amirite?

    Yeah, I use it. It's because my TV is kind of old and doesn't have Component cables. The AV cables are also unusable, for some reason. The picture is nice and clear.
