The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
I'm interested. I like robots more than I like trucks. I'll have to wait until I see some gameplay footage in action before I consider purchasing though.

The game looks like a bigger, better Excite Truck with online racing and more additions to enhance the racing aspect and add more tilting requirements.
The complaints I've heard from people have had to do with the style of the game (saying it's "kiddy," why do we even need this word?), when really, they're forgetting that the game still preserves the fundamentals that make the Excite games fun. I'm not bothered so much with the fact that your driving robotic insects/animals, it's still an Excite game.
Here is a couple of real screenshots: http://www.wiids.nl/article.php?id=29009 I enjoyed ExciteTruck and found it to be a simple and fun racing game that I enjoyed with several friends who wouldn't pick up any other Racing game whatsoever. I hope this one will be fun too, and they have had a long time to develop it so I expect online, better controls and all that.
Those look like scanned magazine pics to me, I knew they were available but didn't link them as that's illegal, not to mention immoral, so I just linked the (also real) images Nintendo Power offered itself.
