I thinking of doing the same but then I picked up one GC game I had missed, Eternal Darkness and man it was awesome!...so I guess I will keep it a while longer. :P

Yeah, one big reason I got a Wii was to play GameCube games and Eternal Darkness is amazing.

I sold my Wii too, and I was sad because I really wanted to keep it and hope for better games later on...giving Nintendo another chance after it started to fade away for me during the GC era... but I really needed a PS3.

2. I never said you had to worship the Wii. In fact, I'd advise against any kind of worship towards an electronic device....but I don't feel abandoned by Nintendo at all. I think they've done their job fairly swimmingly thus far. All I'd want is a new Star Fox and I'd be satisfied with their stuff. But I know everyone feels bum raped by Nintendo as of late because they didn't announce Kid Icarus, so I decided to highlight notable third party games to show that 2009 is really looking up.

Yeah, I was there for the Super Nintendo, but I was playing Doom more than Mario at that time. I think I was 4 or 5. I also have the N64, and think it's one of the best consoles ever. Unlike everyone else, though, I am embracing the Wii and its casual fare. Wii Fit? I got it and like it a lot. Boom Blox? I loved it. When I got the Wii, I wasn't expecting the same old stuff that Nintendo was releasing, but new things entirely. I got that, and for that, I'm happy. If Nintendo released MotionPlus and said, "We're done, it's up to third parties now," I'd be fine, maybe even glad., because then third party developers would have the field to do whatever they wanted. Besides, shovelware comes due to low development costs, and there are new IPs on the system. Look at Madworld. Also, the motion controls are far from needless. In fact, they were completely needed for Nintendo to stay alive. I like motion controls because it gives the Wii a different appeal than the Xbox and Playstation. What's the point of having three consoles if they're all the same thing?

BTW: Naruto is retarded, and I didn't quote it knowingly.
