Nintendo next console will be HD for sure. What I'm worried about is the controllers.

Doesn't seem too surprising, but I sure hope that it's a decent jump up from the Wii.

If they just put HD in the Wii I think they will get killed next gen. I think Nintendo needs to be creative with there next console to stay ahead, but the question is what can they do that will be revolutionary again?  Its probably going to be very stressful till they come up with that idea.

For their next system, they'll need to modernize their interface.

They need to do something different that isn't retarded like Natal, and then silver and bronze medal can play catchup again. I'd be nice if it were HD just to give the trolls who don't even own a Wii yet can't stop talking about it one less thing to talk about. Backward compatible 100%, obviously, because not doing that is fucking stupid when you previous system is the most popular one ever. Im sure it'll be fine but honestly the 3DS is the only thing I care about as far as next gen hardware.
