Yep, seems you can slash enemies without slowing down at times too. Looks incredible to me, kind of Sonic meets Zelda. Hopefully as good. Secret Rings was ace in my opinion, this ditches the on-rails aspect so should be a lot better :)

The view of the city is great, what SEGA team is making these anyway? It's not the main Sonic Team is it? These guys know their stuff far better, hopefully they'll get the freedom to work on projects they want, than be restricted to Sonic and end up as uninspired as the main Sonic Team.

The story is EXACTLY the same as Secret Rings.

Actually looks pretty impressive. They seem to have succeeded at keeping the speed up while fighting.

Nothing can save Sonic.  What they really need is to remake Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 and just take out all the other dumb characters.  That would be awsome.  I'd buy it.

I think if a Wii tried to render one of those CG cutscenes, it would be probably implode.

Yeah, i mean come on.  Its barely possible for the Wii to manage anything that would have looked good on the gamecube

So it's barely possible for a system that runs all the GC games, on top of having the better specs, to be able to have GC-quality games? Damn, talk about redefining the word "barely" here.

Never played it but I still don't have high expectations.  I would rather wait for the a real sonic game.  Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure are still awesome games in my opinion.  I have it on my dreamcast.  What was so terrible about those games that they couldn't use a similar formula.  Most games work on a formula basis and usually work out really well.

im up for the Sonic 1 and 2 remake, as long as they just remake the graphics and not the damn storyline......

It looks better than i expected, but still far from great. I might try it eventually since i enjoyed Secret Rings, but it would be a rental at best.
