Just wondering but how does everyone feel about pikmin for the wii?

I can't wait. I have always liked the series a lot and I own Pikmin 2 for the Gamecube. I wonder how they are going to use the Wiimote on this game.

I haven't played the first two. I know they are Miyamoto games, but should I play them?

I hope its more like the second than the first. That's all I can say.

I'm excited. I had a blast with the first one, and the second I'm only having trouble with because I'm getting tired of the stick controls. With a pointer, the series could really improve a lot.

If they do put new pikmin in the game what do you think will be there abilities?

I never had a Gamecube, so I'm excited to try it out.

Yeah i agree with a pointer unfortunately i sold the first one so im looking for one at some local game stores. and if they added a new pikmin i think it would be green

They're not going to use green because green confers no abilities as a colour (what, are you going to have an earth-type Pikmin? What's it going to do) They should keep the five types they have now, but add base-building and online skirmishes.

Also, to anyone who hasn't played previous Pikmin games, you can skip 1. 2 is way better in every conceivable way.

I never played the first two but they had great receptions. I think they look really good. Since I'm a fan of strategy games and adventure games, Pikmin seems to take those and add puzzle solving and combat into it as well. I'll be on the lookout for Pikmin 3 when more details are revealed.

if this prevails i hope they allow some concept of online play like timed missions coop or attack and defend:
finally i dunno if anyone knows but has there been any news on the wiispeak tool or is it just speculation because itcould be quite cool i included in pikmen wii:

I don't know really. Pikmin is kind of dumb but if it were on the Wii it may be better.

Never played myself, seen others playing looks interesting, if made for the Wii it will definatley have to take good use of the WiiMote.

I've played Pikmin 2, its a stellar RTS game that's easy to get into and extremely addicting. A simple concept on the surface but with a ton of hidden depth. Awesome game.

Pikmin Wii would be great, since the gameplay suits the controller well.
