    GAME.co.uk have listed Rogue Squadron for the Wii today. Release date TBA, publisher Activision/Blizzard. 
     
    Activision actually did publish the Rogue Squadron games in the UK. The inclusion of the publisher with their "new" name makes me think this might be more than a simple mess-up.

    I read this as Rouge Warrior for Wii at first. That would've sucked, and this is good news.

    I'm gonna guess that this is going to be a quickly slapped together and rather shoddy port/collection of the previous games. That way I can't be disappointed (no game coming at all is actually going to be better than this possibility for example)!

    Why would you even post anything when you have no fucking idea what you're talking about? 
     
    Rogue Squadron (the original) was awesome. Never did try the Gamecube games, but I seem to recall they received some praise. I could really get behind a new game in the franchise, but I'd settle for them packing the three games in a Metroid Prime Trilogy-style package with some updated graphics and widescreen support.

    No, it was in development(although probably very early in) for the Wii but died when they collapsed, along with another flight game rumored to be Pilot Wings Wii.

    Having them all as it is, I am still open to an updated compilation.  A new game, built from the ground up specifically for the Wii?  Even better.

    Hmm, i wouldn't complain...even though i never played more than 3 or 4 levels or any of the older games. It'd at least give me some amount of enjoyment.
